We eat out quite often and this is one of the best pub meals I've ever had. Very tasty and good value. Beef Teriyaki from specials board......awesome!!

Wonderful food and staff. I little pricy compared to our local area, but the quality totally justified it. Quality home cooked food, not your ready to heat pub grub.

Great pub, really fab Sunday Roast. All ordered and came out quickly. Will definitely return with my daughter next time so as to enjoy the garden area as well. Thank you to all the team, delicious.

The food at this restaurant is excellent and the service is friendly. It was definitely worth driving nearly 600 miles round trip to come back. A big thank you to Kath, Dave, and the rest of the Red Lion team for making us feel so welcome.

Had a 1 night motorhome stopover on 13/07/23 and will certainly do it again one day. £15 (cash) for a pitch with hook up, water and disposal and a fantastic meal in the welcoming dog friendly pub. What a fantastic traditional pub! We were staying nearby and decided to stop in for a Sunday roast. The food was amazing, with generous portions and top-notch quality. They even had sausage roll snacks available at the bar! The beer selection was great, the atmosphere was friendly, and they were even welcoming to dogs. I highly recommend paying a visit if you're in the Ross on Wye area.

The restaurant offers an excellent selection on their menu, as well as a wide variety of specials. We decided to try the seafood dishes and were very impressed. The monkfish scampi was a unique and delicious dish, and the Red Lion Fish pie was absolutely delightful. The Ludlow Gold ale paired perfectly with our meals. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere of the pub was cozy and inviting.

Have stopped here 4 or 5 times now, as a couple with 2 dogs. Always welcomed, and will definitely be a regular place for us to go. We stayed in our camper with EHU, not over crowded, plenty of space. The food is absolutely outstanding, with a wide variety of choice, and the Sunday lunch is to die for. We have had the beef teriyaki twice now, aswel as the fish and chips more often! Consistantly gorgeous. The coco prawn starter is amazing! We had lunch also on this 2 day stop over, and the steak baguette is honestly the best baguette I have had!
