Amazing food service. New Management has turned this pub into an amazing little food drink spot! Food was hot, fresh delicious! Will definitely be recommend returning!

Id never go there again. They tried to serve me a burger with salad and gravy poured over the top coz it had a yorkie on top. Theres a reason nobody else does this... sh*te

Well I would say this is the best eatery in Bredbury. We went tonight and ordered a scampi, mixed grill, chicken burger and seafood platter and my god the portions were massive and very tasty. If you want a eating challenge then try a platter...to yourself but I think you will struggle. Really nice staff and can't fault the pub

here for the weekday dinner and it was not disappointed. I couldn't find the menu anywhere online sad, but when we arrived and had a look, there were a lot of different options for selecting (wraps, burgers, fish chips, etc. we were sitting outside. it was a nice day and there was a decent sitting area on the back. we will definitely go back, eating was great and the staff was very friendly. we have seen some low reviews here before we were visiting, but our experience was not right and we really enjoyed it. only for lunch with drinks that I paid for the use of my card, then had another round drinks that my partner asked for at that time that we had a third round drinks that we did not have. then the manager said he believed his personal, but would deprive us of the doubts. it would not be good, but we would have had a third drink if it hadn't been that they tried to tear us off. also around mayonnaise and ketchup for the meal we never got. on Sunday Takinkg friends planned to lunch, but not now. I don't care, but we had survived, and we were just there about an hour. This pub doesn't deserve to be in business when they treat their customers.

I came to this pub after initially booking my Christmas dinner at the White Hart as the tenants there had moved to the Rising Sun. Not only did they contact to inform us of the move and offer us the option to cancel, they also...suggested they would honour the booked Christmas dinners and we could eat there instead. We chose to eat at the Rising Sun as we thought we would give it a try and I must say it was the right decision. The service was impeccable, the food was amazing and the table and meal presentation did not go unnoticed. They had candles, table cloths and crackers. What a shockingly awful experience on Xmas Day! A disorganised mess on the most important meal out of the year. My family paid per head, total for Xmas dinner at this pub and pre ordered and part pre paid for a course...meal. On arrival the tables were covered with a white paper table cloth and nothing else with ONE knife and fork for courses! which we were asked to reuse as they were short! No mats, no coasters, no decorations, no crackers, no effort. In hrs we had received just our starter, the second course was missed altogether with no explanation and the pre ordered veg was missing completely from one of our mains.
