Our first visit here celebrate our 35th Wedding Anniversary and we were not disappointed. The staff were attentive and the food was excellent. Would highly recommend. Thank you

We visited when staying in the local area. Lovely drinks and all food was exceptional. We had starters, (soup and pate) 2 steaks, one dessert and 2 drinks and the bill was £142. The food was really, really good- Pricey but worth it!

What a lovely evening we've had tonight.The food is second to none and three of the four waiters who waited on us were amazing. The steak is by far the best we've had. I can't give any higher rating or I would and the one miserable waiter won't let me downgrade my review. Thank you .

We went here with friends who have been before we were not disappointed the staff were amazing and the manager Lucas advised me which sparkling wine it was a South African much better than the Italian thank you, the King Prawn tails were delicious, we shared a T bone me and my hubby the best steak

I went to this restaurant for the first time after being highly recommended by friends. The staff was very welcoming and provided excellent service. All three courses we had were flawless and we really enjoyed our experience. We will definitely be returning, especially for the delicious lemon cheesecake!

Really disappointing experience. Not visited for some time and wont be returning any time soon. We had early bird special, steak only just acceptable in taste and tenderness. A few potato wedges masquerading as chips, poor barely cooked mushrooms, heavily battered onion rings ands just OK sauces. Service bordering on brusque throughout, although did check and we said OK as didn't want it becoming an issue. Accept subjective and lots of people seem to like but certainly not for us. Just pleased we didn't pay the non early bird price!

Last night, four of us traveled from Beverley to dine at Ryther Arms. The starters were enjoyable, but unfortunately, the mains were a huge letdown. We all ordered different cuts of meat cooked medium-rare, but only one steak was prepared correctly. The rest were overcooked and low in quality. The peppercorn sauce seemed to be from a packet and had a strange skin on top. The presentation of the steaks was lacking, which was disappointing as they are supposed to be the highlight of the meal. Although we were able to afford the meal, it was very expensive and not worth the price. We were all disappointed with our experience and will not be returning to Ryther Arms.

Getting to The Rythre restaurant can be a bit of a challenge as it is located in a remote area with a flooded road. However, the journey is definitely worth it. The staff is attentive without being overbearing, making every customer feel special. The food is cooked beautifully and served promptly. Despite it being Valentine's Day, the service was efficient. The starters were presented nicely, especially the haggis bon bons which were succulent. The main course, a 38 ounce T-bone steak, was tender and cooked to perfection. We have been before and it was brilliant. However this is the last time I will be eating there again. The waitress was very rude and dismissive the whole time we were there. We ordered the T-bone to share and weren 't given the opportunity to tell them how we prefer it to be cooked. The steak then came blue massively underdone to our liking. This is not to say it wasn 't a top quality cut of meat because it assuredly was. However I was not willing to pay £95 for a steak that wasn 't cooked to my liking.
