"We were greeted with friendly smiles as soon as we arrived. Ordered some drinks and were seated straightaway. We didn’t want a full blown meal so ordered Pork baps with apple sauce and stuffing, and shared a bowl of roast potatoes, we had a small...pot of gravy each. It was certainly value for money and absolutely delicious. I meant to ask for the gravy recipe, but forgot. It was luvvverly. The Staff and locals in there were a great bunch of people and there was a lovely festive atmosphere. We will definitely go there again in the future. Thank you all."

Lovely pub and really tasty food. I had the fish pie and my boyfriend had the ribs we really enjoyed it. We will be coming back!!

visited this beautiful pub every night of our trip to beautiful polperro. perfectly positioned, great atmosphere, friendly staff, great eating and well maintained ales. What is that? we're coming back!

very good service, good food and they know how to take care of the beer. this place rocks a must not miss pub in this small village that so many visitors bring their dog every day and are treated with respect as if a local.

we were welcomed by both the staff and the locals. had an excellent afternoon watched the rugby and then brilliant entertainment of a guy named ross kelly. my wife and I and our friends had a great time and would definitely...recommend

I ordered a few drinks and sat right away. we didn't want a full flown meal, so ordered pork with apple sauce and filling, and divided a bowl with bratkartoffels, we had a small pot with gravyje. it was certainly worth for money and absolutely delicious. I wanted to ask for the Gravy recipe, but forget. it was luvverly. the staff and the locals there were a great crowd of people and there was a beautiful festive atmosphere. we will go back to the future. Thank you.

First evening in town and unlike other pubs in town, there was no wait for food order and table the guys behind the bar are super friendly and lots of locals in making this a relaxing place to visit and very dog friendly. Ordered...their seafood linguine which was large in portion but sparse in seafood and a bit bland too but did hoover it up! Compared to other locations in town, if you're looking for food then suggest joining a waiting list, but dont be put off if you're looking for a relaxing evening with drinks as you will be made very welcome.
