"The pub was mostly empty with plenty of available tables, yet we were politely asked to leave because we were just drinking and not eating. Seriously? At the very least, they should ensure that the outdoor benches and tables are clean and dry before telling patrons to leave if they are only having drinks! It would have been helpful to know this policy before placing our order, as we might have chosen to go elsewhere. Despite being allowed to sit inside, the whole situation felt pointless. Additionally, I noticed that other customers were allowed to sit at tables while we were relegated to an uncomfortable stool. I have back problems, and I struggled quite a bit getting on and off that stool. Sorry, but I won't be returning!"

Just had a lovely night at the Smugglers...B&B was a bargain £100. Breakfast was delicious. Fab meal in the evening and all the staff are really helpful and nice. Fab location with stunning walks. 5 Stars. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

Wow, the size of those delicious fishcakes and the fish and chips! Superb. Great food, great prices. REALLY friendly staff. Came with my very elderly father and the young staff couldn't be friendlier and more helpful. The last time my father visited was 74 years ago when it was The Lobster Pot!!! This is one of my all-time favorite pubs. Located near the beach, this 13th-century establishment is nicely sheltered from the wind. The food is excellent, and the venue is spacious enough to accommodate plenty of guests, with ample outdoor seating as well. Just be sure to step inside! Service: 5 Location: 5

We had a delightful early meal here with four people and two dogs on a weekday. The food was outstanding, and the staff were incredibly friendly! They even treated our dogs to some sausages. There was a slight mistake with our order, but it was quickly resolved without any hassle. We will definitely be coming back next time we're in the area! Service: 4 Location: 5
