Great choice. Pleasant staff. Good vibe. Excellent Sunday lunch yesterday. Desserts yummy. Especially the warm brownie with ice cream. We’ll definitely return

Evening meal. Fish and chips peas 2 for £14. Can’t go wrong delicious as usual service is excellent food is always delicious followed by karaoke what more could you want sorry photo is half eaten fish and chips forgot

1st visit and it won’t be last if I’m this way again. Sunday lunch prob the best and most reasonable I’ve ever had. Meats cooked to perfection. Portions just right. Very friendly welcome and the young waitresses a credit to the pub. Wish I lived nearer. Visualizza piatti

We had a brilliant Sunday dinner with family. Great food, beer was fantastic too. The young waitresses very attentive and always on hand to help. We could not believe the price, 2 for 1 on a Sunday dinner that was as good as any we have had. We are local and will be back for sure.

Have eaten here a few times for Sunday lunch, 2 for 1 pizza on a Saturday and steak night on a Thursday. Food is always perfect and fresh. Drink choices great and service with a smile. Family feel with kids being very welcome, they are so friendly with the kids. Boris the pub dog is a character and will fall asleep next to your table, the kids love him! Would recommend!

Myself and my family (wife and 3 kids) went for Sunday Lunch and it was superb, great quality food and the service was excellent. it feels like you are going to a real community pub where the landlord and staff are really happy you went in, all the other customers were happy and its just a lovely place to go and spend a few hours dining and having a chat. highly recommended. Table was ready service at bar good. We booked sunday dinner but not enough veg!!! cereal bowl size of veg to share really and earlier you could have booked earlier and had 2-1 but we booked later so full price! Beef rubbery and not fresh! average so if you want to book on the 2-1 only as full price not worth it...deserts all £5 but we didnt bother ....could do better comes to mind

This little gem is fantastic, special for us was two steaks and a bottle of wine for £30 the food was cooked to perfection , I’m so fussy about my steak but it was perfect so flavoursome , chips made from real potato triple cooked or something as these were perfect too and a nice portion of meat chips and salad , I thought potions might be small being a special but I was wrong as I’m a big eater and I was left satisfied got an extra of onion rings OMG these dipped into my extra pepper corn sauce was heavenly. Writing this 4 hours later I could eat it all again . Well done chef !!!!!!!

So after booking in for the steak night last Thursday we turned up to the sun inn, where we was greeted by a waitress asking if we had a booking which we confirmed we had. She then went off to get the chef/owner. This is when the experience goes downhill. “I’m sorry we have no steaks” was all he could say. When asked how that was made possible as surely you buy the amount of steaks plus 2/3 to cover the bookings you get he answered that he just couldn’t turn down the business, but he already had the business as we had booked for this? I’m fine with mistakes being made as it happens but this guy was just extremely rude, I even said why don’t you do any 2 mains and a bottle of wine for the sam... Visualizza piatti
