However, I'm not sure if this is a common issue, but while sitting outside, there was a constant stream of loud motorcycles coming in and out of the parking area. It felt like every few minutes, one would slowly rumble by, drowning out our conversations. I noticed that other diners at nearby tables were also visibly irritated by the noise."

The atmosphere is lovely, and you're always greeted with a warm welcome along with a great pint. It's an excellent spot for both travelers and motorcycle enthusiasts. Highly recommended!

Friendly staff, good value food. Visited twice during our narrow boat hols (there and back). Booked both times. Biker night (Wednesday) was fun and interesting!! Definitely recommend a visit.

A pleasant pub with plentiful walks in the area of interest. Attentive and polite staff with reasonably priced good quality food. My Fish and chops had a generous portion of fish and well cooked tasty chips.

We visit this restaurant every day for work and are always greeted warmly. The food is excellent, and the staff is consistently pleasant and friendly. There's a fantastic selection of beers and spirits as well. Every seat offers a great view, making it a wonderful spot to enjoy a meal. It's a must-visit for people from all walks of life—bikers, boaters, and dog walkers alike.

I visited this pub on a whim, and I was pleasantly surprised! It has a wonderful atmosphere, excellent ales, and the food is fantastic. I had the black pudding and the speck salad, which were both delicious and generous portions. My friend ordered the burger and found it so filling that he couldn't finish it. We will definitely be returning with our children and the rest of the family!

since 3 months under new management and last night they started a Thursday special. 2 steaks and a bottle of wine £25 can have 8 unzen rump, ribeye or sirloin, or for an extra £3 a 16 oz T-Bone. we had the ribeye and T-Bone and both were beautiful. the wine was also very beautiful (merlott). personal very friendly and always had a smile on their faces. thanks many, will certainly be back.
