"I like the concept of Three Lamps, where you can sit by the window in comfortable seats and watch people passing by while enjoying a coffee. However, the experience never quite lives up to my expectations. The decor is pleasant and the seats are comfortable, but the restaurant is always cold. Today, we were lucky to get a seat by the window with a heater overhead, which helped. However, the rest of the venue remained chilly. When we ordered coffees, I asked for sugar-free syrup in my skinny, decaf latte, but the server seemed unfamiliar with the request. My husband also had difficulty communicating our order. Since it was mid-morning, we just wanted coffee and did not dine. In summary, the customer service is lacking and the restaurant tends to be cold."

First visit bang average and overpriced. Second time paid deposit for a booking I cancelled. Over two months later still haven’t had a refund.

Large bar next to the gardens has 3 floors big open bar on the ground floor more of a private hire bar on the first floor with great views good selection of drinks on offer including cocktails

Popped in for Sunday lunch, the pictures on Social media looked better than what was dished up. The beef was cheap tasting and rubbery and covered with bisto gravy , veg was the only thing drifting the meal in a top end 3/10. Zero atmosphere to go with the whole ‘experience’

This was one of the worst meals I have ever been served. I paid £5 for sharer nachos.... These were bone dry, stone cold, greasy and all all round disgusting. Companed at the time .... Manager didn't give a toss Very disappointed... Drinks were lovely and bar staff were amazing!!

Booked to go for an anniversary meal, Seating arrangement was inconsiderate , waitress was impolite and uninterested, as well as made an offensive comment regarding age which were unnecessary, didn’t stay long enough to order food , if it wasn’t for las iguanas down the street the night would of been ruined Wouldn’t recommend for big/special events

Unprofessional doormen who attempted to escort a 50+ yr old woman out because she fell on a slippery dance floor in a private event with professional people. Very disappointed in their handling of a situation. Chief doorman gained some respect back by his handling of the situation. More concerned with bureaucracy than human interaction. Very disappointed.

Today my mother visited me in Swansea and treated me to lunch at Three Lamps, and it was absolutely delightful! The steak was cooked perfectly and the chips were the best I've ever tasted. The cocktails were delicious and everything was presented beautifully. The service was fast and extremely friendly. I would highly recommend Three Lamps to anyone looking for a delicious and affordable meal in Swansea.

I recently attended an event at the 3 Lamps restaurant, where most of us ordered the pulled pork sandwich for £7.95. We were disappointed to receive two small 3-inch slices of bread with sparse portions of belly pork, mostly filled with apple sauce, wilted lambs leaf garnish, and a small serving of purple coleslaw. Despite the high price, the quality of the food was subpar. However, I must commend the exceptional service provided by the bar staff, who were very polite and friendly.

"I have been wanting to visit here for ages but the stars have never aligned until Saturday. We were extremely lucky to get a walk in for the two of us. We were greeted by the owner and shown to a table. As we didn't have any drinks with us Peter suggested Tesco a few doors down and I was able to grab a bottle to enjoy with the meal. The service was wonderful and friendly and it felt like we had been going there for years, with just the right amount of care and advice. The food was exceptional from start to finish. We had the chicken satay and spring rolls to start and they were beautiful. The satay was amazing and was much darker in colour than any I have had before, but much better in flavour than any I have had before, I would definitely have these again. For main I had a chicken rendang and my wife ordered gule monkfish. The rendang was again perfect for my tastes. Spicy but flavourful with a generous portion that would satisfy the majority of eaters. I would have had seconds, even though I was stuffed because it was so good. I can't comment too much on the monkfish as I have a dislike of seafood, but my wife raved about it and said she's having the same again next time without question. So I think that sums it up. We finished with deserts of a rice pudding dish I think was called bubar, which was black rice and coconut, and the second dish we ordered was a Banana coconut pancake to which I forget the name. Again I couldn't find fault if I tried another 10 out of 10. At the end of the meal we met owner and chef Ami, who came to chat. It was lovely speaking to the owners and their passion for the food and customer service was clear. We cannot wait until our next visit"
