Trattoria da Salvatore

Seriously slow. Ungodly slow. Not sure why it takes 2 hours to make 1 pizza, 1 schnitzel and a few salads. Absolutely ridiculous. If the food was off the charts amazing I could see it being worth the wait, but it's not. It's average. Most likely won't be getting anything from here again.

Once I noticed that the waitress didn't re-set the table with clean utensils this place lost any vote from me. I guess assuming someone hadn't used or touched them was okay along with dropping the "clean" knife on the floor then placing it on the table for a new customer. Gross. The food was okay, just okay. Never going back.

Wer sich von dem Gestöhne auf dem Tennisplatz nicht gestört fühlt kann es sich im Biergarten gemütlich machen. Pizza wurde schnell geliefert schmeckte auch gut. Bedienung war freundlich. Leider werden nicht alle Gäste gleich behandelt, die einen bekommen zu Beginn Brot und Butter gereicht, die anderen nicht. So ist das auch mit dem Ramazzotti nach dem Essen. Schade! Say hello to Salvatore himself as he is always on duty and ready to greet his favorite customers. Come sit on the patio and watch some tennis or have a cocktail. The widest variety menu in town with your Italian and German favorite, plus fish and rice dishes that will leave you wanting more. Great for big groups and he can usually accommodate large parties with a little notice. Don't forget the annual Oktoberfest!

It was a busy night, but this cannot be the sole reason of the poor quality of the food and the worse quality of service. We had to wait long, can happen, but we could not see staff being very busy serving anyone else. Pasta was al dente, but otherwise there was not much too it. The wine was okay. The caprese had most of its ingredients. It seems a form of coordination could have helped. Not a bad place to sit outdoors and the company was enjoyable...

Wir waren wieder zu Gast in der Pizzeria Trattoria Da Salvatore. Das Essen wir hatten Pizza bestellt, war dieses mal in der Mitte nicht richtig durchgebacken. Die Qualität schwankt von sehr gut bis nicht so toll. Im Lokal war sehr viel los und es wurde unangenehm laut, im Sommer auf der Terasse ist es schöner und die Kinder können auf dem Spielplatz toben. Die Preise für das Essen und die Getränke sind noch ok. Das Personal war wie immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Deshalb nur eine bedingte Weiterempfehlung von uns. Visualizza piatti

Never would have found this place without a colleague's recommendation. Wow. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was amazing. It was dark so we couldn't see the outside area much, but we sat in a nice, quiet space upstairs good for larger groups. The service was very quick, the menu was substantial, and the food was outstanding. I had the farfalle and salmon and loved it. Fresh bread comes with your meal as well. Wish I had chosen something other that the Barberra wine, but that's my fault; just not my taste.

Das Restaurant befindet sich in einem Haus mit wechselvoller Geschichte. Ähnlich verhält es sich auch mit der Qualität der Speisen, mal gut, mal weniger gut.Beim letzten Besuch ließ der Zustand des Gastraumes etwas zu wünschen übrig, zumal die Wände schon geraume Zeit keine Farbe mehr gesehen hatten, was einem sauberen Gesamteindruck zuträglich gewesen wäre.( ist sogar meiner 88 jährigen Mutter aufgefallen ). Die Reihenfolge des Servierens wird wohl per Glücksrad in der Küche festgelegt, da Gäste nach uns, zuvor bedient wurden. Auf Nachfrage hieß es, daß unsere Speisen anspruchsvoller wären. Allerdings konnte ich auch expliziedem Hinsehen keinen Unterschied zwischen Pizza und Pizza erkennen....

Wife was in the mood for Italian, so we decided to give Trattoria a try. We had long been intrigued by what was back up that road. What's up there is a lovely location. The restaurant sits in what folks back in TN would call a holler. It's nestled among ridgelines next to a tennis club. To take advantage of their setting, they have a nice outdoor area, which includes a small playground for children. Once inside the service was excellent. The waitress spoke very good English, and they offered English translations on the menu. I must admit however, there was practically no one in the place, so she didn't have much else to do.
