"4 nights in Rome and this was our very fav restaurant and memory. If you are lucky, the owner comes out and serenades you. It was a pleasant surprise and a memory we will never forget. And the food is authentic and not your typical tourist-y spot which are on every corner in Rome. Also, the price point!!! Such a great and inexpensive spot for what you get. Same dishes are twice as much in in other restaurants and don’t taste half as good. We got the Caprese, Vongole, Cacio e pepe and some amazing limoncello cake. Would get the same things over and over again. Thank you for such an amazing time. We will be back next time in Rome."

Ho visitato questo ristorante per la prima volta perché era vicino al nostro hotel. Ci siamo sentiti come a casa in questo ristorante. Grande cucina di famiglia italiana! Sicuramente torneremo quando saremo a Roma.

Molto cordiale con un'atmosfera fantastica. Il chitarrista improvvisato era brillante e ha intonato la canzone ancora e ancora. Il cibo era sia nel sapore che nel valore, e il servizio rapido e molto amichevole. Questa è una vera Trattoria e una vera gemma.

Che fantastico ristorante! Cibo delizioso, ambiente superbo, musica dal vivo, uno dei camerieri canta ai suoi tavoli. Vino anche delizioso, carattere impareggiabile, e tutto a un prezzo accessibile. Di solito non lascio recensioni, ma questo posto è oro puro. Non è alta cucina, ma per una serata divertente è davvero divertente e i piatti sono davvero gustosi.

È stata la prima volta che ho fatto una prenotazione con TheFork ed è stata perfetta. Ho ricevuto una conferma e una chiamata. Quando il nostro gruppo di 16 persone è arrivato, tutto era pronto. La Trattoria Giovanni di Valentino è un posto piccolo, ma speciale. Questa volta (era la mia quarta visita) Giovanni ha preso la sua chitarra e ha cantato alcune canzoni come "Lasciatemi cantare".

We were in Rome for 7 days and visited trattoria giovanni di Valentino twice, as we were so amazed by the food and environment. Both servers were very friendly and we loved giovannis little music act, as he grabbed the guitar and began to sing. The food is amazing as well, very fresh and affordable. All and all I can just say, if you want good food and very kind servers, please visit this lovely restaurant. Thank you so much, we will be back !!
