"Trattoria l'Astigiana is a historic point in the heart of Alassio, opened in 1946 and called so precisely because it was opened by a lady from Asti. Owner after owner we arrive at today, where you are welcomed into a small but welcoming environment, with large and well-furnished tables. We first choose a platter of cured meats, with a strong Low Lombard connotation, and then we dive into the fish first courses. All good, generous in portions, and surrounded by a present service, at least on a late winter evening. The thoughtfulness of the bib for those who eat fish first courses is a gem. Three of you, for a shared starter, three first courses, wine, two desserts, a bitter and a coffee, spend the right amount, both in terms of quality and quantity. No flaw in this Asti area. Of course, you won't eat the Agnolotti or the Monferrina gnocchi, but it's certainly worth trying!"
