Valans - Piatti

It was our second visit (we have family in the local area) and this was as amazing as the first. Super tasty home cooked meals with incredible desserts too. Continues to be somewhere we highly recommend to anyone!

This wasn't my first dining experience at Valans and it never disappoints, but this latest meal on 3rd March was exceptional. I can highly recommend the rhubarb ice cream which was delicious, and will definitely be coming again.

Visited here with family for lunch. The food was delicious and the service was swift and unobtrusive. I absolutely loved the Bellinis we had too. We were too full to enjoy dessert at the time but took home some gorgeous sweet treats to savour later that were perfectly packaged to travel home with us. Visualizza piatti

we we're on holiday in ammanford sth Wales a very little place, for sunday dinner we went to Llandybie just across from co-op is a fantastic restaurant called Valans we had the sun lunch menu wow 3 of us 3 course meal we took sweet's back to base meal's only £20. each less course's less money, well worth every penny staff (the owner's) can't do enough please give it a go

I took advantage of this opportunity to collect a meal for two simply re heat (the instructions on each dish were clear and extensive) the prepared food The starters, mains and desert were excellent. One the best restaurant meals I (and my partner) have eaten in a long long time!! The menu was extensive (another vegetarian option for next time would be good) and we were very happy with our choices We can’t wait to order again!!

This place has potential but the basics are just not right .The service is basic ,the boy never smiles,he's not impolite but personality isn't his strong point . The menu choice is good but changes rarely. The chef has no clue how to season food which is poor . Playing is good ,food looks good and the quality is there ,just no taste ,thin sauces not reduced properly and I've got to say it again ....no seasoning,poor taste ,had to go get salt and try to get some taste back Visualizza piatti

We had a lovely Sunday lunch yesterday from Valans. With the lockdown, they deliver within a radius or you can collect. Well we are outside the area ,so it was no problem to collect. We had a soup and prawn cocktail to start followed by roast beef and turkey with all the veg. and trimmings with a crumble and bread and butter to finish. It was piping hot when we arrived home,and didn't need retreating. What a treat it was, The occasion was to celebrate our anniversary, but we won't need an excuse to go back and that will be soon. We have regularly visited the restaurant and always had delicious meals so we look forward to them openng again.

We visited on holiday but with friends who are local and know the restaurant. My friend notified them I was gluten and dairy free and as soon as we walked in and were seated the waitress identified me and discussed options. Clearly the chef can cook as he was able to modify many of the options for me. The starter and main coourse were great but the dessert ws a real delight. Usually being GF DF I get a choice of sorbet, sorbet or sorbet which is always overly sweet. But chef could make me coconut pancakes or an Eton Mess. Well the pancakes were dellcious and my non-dairy-free friend decided to have the dairy-free Eton Mess as it appealed to her. Great place, fab food!

We have just eaten a most satisfying Sunday Lunch, delivered to our door during the Covid 19 Lockdown. A traditional Roast Beef Sunday Lunch, with all the trimmings followed by Bread and Butter Pudding with custard. What a beautiful meal! The roast beef was perfect, with plenty of gravy, a Yorkshire Pudding, boiled potatoes and roasted potatoes, roasted parsnips, broccoli, peas and carrots with plenty of gravy. The Bread and butter pudding with custard brought to an end a truly wonderful meal. What was especially nice was that this was delivered to our door at exactly the time specified and proved a wonderful experience after many weeks of staying at home.
