Viento De Levante - Menu

Best Tapas we have had for ages! We had been looking forward to trying the tapas and were not disappointed. Lovely restaurant with lovely staff, great food and nice wine! Looking forward to our next visit

We had a lunchtime take away from Viento De Levante in Selsey, comprising a selection of their tapas dishes it was all very good and tasty, with generous portions and nice sauces; we will definitely be back for more, before too long!

Lovely meal, which was early evening so probably unexpected but came in a timely manner. Reasonable cost but only 1 main course, 4 Tapas and a desert came to £50. Only disappointment was a 'hot ' dish was quite up to the hot as described but that may be personal preference.

We went here for an anniversary meal last night. The staff were really nice and we were well attended to. Their vegetarian menu options were plentiful and delicious, we had 8 tapas items between us and were really impressed with each and every one! Would definitely come back for another meal.

Our party was three in number and we ordered tapas to start followed by a main course . The tapas dishes were very tasty each having a very individual taste. The main courses were also excellent. If I had one criticism I had far too many potatoes and would have preferred a few veg or some salad but my grilled pork was delicious. I would happily return to this restaurant.

My husband and I had a lovely meal here last night The food was lovely and the staff and service was excellent We had a couple of tapas dishes to share, houmous and bread and fried aubergine and a bowl of olives I had butterflied chicken with salad and potatoes and my husband had pasta bologaise, all of which was delicious. The ambience was lovely , candles on the tables and Spanish music in the background You would almost think you were in Spain rather than Selsey !!

It 's the first time we 've dined im Selsey. The plan was to eat at the Viento del Vante but it was closed, however we were assured the sister restaurant Lal Bar was serving the same menu and it would be just as good, it didn 't let us down either. The staff were attentive, the food and wine were really good and, the atmosphere was fun and lively. I have to say there were four of us and we are all quite fussy and there was nothing we could complain about. Looking forward to going back in the Summer if not before!

We visited without a reservation and were told the only table we could have was a table for 2 outside, for a family of 4. Wanting to feed the kids asap we decided to stay as we only had an hour before we had to leave anyway. Tables that she had said were all booked out, stayed free for the entire time we were there which was a shame to see. The food was very disappointing. We ordered a large selection of tapas and every single dish was so heavily salted that it wasn’t very enjoyable. The Spanish tortilla was far too salty we barely ate any of it. Bit of bizarre experience. Attended at 8:30pm on holiday weekend to check if there was a table available. Female waitress asked if we booked and as we hadn't she stated they had no room and a full sitting was due despite the fact there was dozens of tables free. This was strange as they had entertainment and I couldn't believe 70 people were about to attend. We got a take away elsewhere and looked back later in to find none of the tables had been taken as the waitress had stated. It was abundantly clear she lied about the next 9pm sitting.
