This German restaurant in the middle of the Italian quarter, is an oasis of friendly service and excellent cooking. We visited it twice and were very impressed by the quality if their cooking, across a wide range of meals.

The food was excellent. The Wine was great. The Service was a disaster. We were a group of of us got it in time. Two were forgotten. Couple of ordered things never showed up. The Espresso (as an excuse from the staff) was...cold.

Thank you for an excellent evening, the food (fast salad; 1⁄2 meter tapas; Ravioli with fig parmas ham; Beef fillet with mushrooms) Absolutely perfect super taste, all in place and a great service. We were here a few months ago and the owner and the staff were very friendly (and even gave us a tour through the wine cellar). The room was small, but was nice, clean and sufficient. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but it was very charming. The only thing that was not so beautiful was the opening hours on Saturday and we had to wait until the restaurant was opened before we could get our key.

Six of us dined here (two of us from Sydney, Australia, the other four were locals who are friends, one who knows a lot about German wine. He was most impressed with the wine list and we tried several excellent German wines. The wines accompanied...the food perfectly. The food was extremely well cooked. Service was professional and friendly. I would be very happy to return to this restaurant the next time we visit Limburg.
