"Hunters chicken ordered, but when it arrived only 3 minutes later !!! , it was dry and tasteless. Waitress said they would inform the chef ?? , there was no feedback! Not recommended at all. Edit: I can't be held responsible if your server didn't tell your chef. I said the chicken was dry and tasteless, not the pulled pork. If the chicken was already precooked, then kept warm, it will invariably dry out. The description of the dish on the menu also said smothered in cheese, but you must have a different meaning to smothered than I do."

Food was OK, dont think freshly prepared, as under new managment I think finding their feet, however food presented well with good size portions. We stopped here overnight in the campervan with the dogs. We had food and beer, all very nice. The pub is dog friendly, but dogs are only allowed in part of the pub. The owners are friendly and dog lovers. The food was nice, we both had homemade food, I had the lasagne and a pint of bank's. There is a pool table, dog treats, and water for the dogs. I would recommend this place to anyone with either a campervan, dogs, or both

Me and my husband have just returned from having a gorgeous Sunday dinner, we had turkey and it was so tender, the mash is absolutely beautiful and wow the Yorkshire pudding is massive and the fresh veg in the separate dish was beautiful, especially the honey glazed carrots and to finish off we shared a sticky toffee pudding with lots of beautiful custard too, would highly recommend and will be back for food again really soon x Service: Dine in
