Exceptional food service I had a fantastic meal here with my family for my birthday. The staff are very friendly and proficient. I can heartily recommend this pub.

Always exceptional food and service. Sunday lunch on New Year’s Eve was one of the best meals of 2017. Certainly the best soup (parsnip and apple), and the tenderest beef.

Another wonderful meal at the white hart. Food as always was superb. Highly recommend to any one. A regular choice for special occasions for a nice 3 course meal, I only wish we were able to come more often!

We celebrated our 28th Wedding Anniversary on Saturday at the White Hart with our very best friends and everything was excellent, the food, the service and relaxed atmosphere. Once again the old place did not let us down.

today for the first time in 30 years, when we lived in front of place, to lunch and more often could go! Eating and receiving staff was excellent and the virgin **** mary was delicious! one of the best I had. the meze plated fish plate was great.

Come hear for a last minute meal with my parents and loved it! The steak was amazing and cooked to perfection!! My mum and dad's pork belly looked fantastic and must have tasted just as good as they haven't stopped raving about it. I can't wait to come back and try something different on the menu : thank you!

absolutely delicious birthday dinner. I usually choose the slowly boiled pig bells, but today I decided for the bratbeef for a change. I wasn't disappointed. the meat was so tender and served with really tasty selection of vegetables, treated with as much care as the bark. also the very unusual gänse bresaola starter and warming ingwerbread dessert. still my favorite place to eat.

a country pub serving gourmet food in traditional suroundings. not only was eating superb (we had slowly boiled boiled boils with crackling) cooked with everything to perfection, the staff was charming, very attentive, without being overlaid. the menu was so that the choice was not just every item was appealing. there was a good selection of beers, a super wine list including cocktails and desert wines. Although not cheap, the bill was much lower than expected and was excellent worth for money. Although it was a long trip for us, we will definitely visit again and we are very happy to recommend the white hard.
