Friendly with good honest pub food. Great after a walk at the reservoir.

Pub has reopened under new management. Loving the coffee shop! Very dog friendly too.

We needed a quick meal enroute home and this pub was open just after Christmas. Had scampi and chips with a 1/2 beer. Perfect bar snack and dogs were allowed too.

Stayed here on a Monday evening they don’t do food on a Monday!! No problem, the lovey landlady does a chippie run. Lovely dog friendly room and fab breakfast. Thank you!

My friends and I called into the White Horse at Empingham after an evening run to Normanton church. Very pleasant staff and plenty of seating inside and outside on a warm evening.

A friendly team, lovely cafe on one side and a well stocked bar what more do you need from a local village pub?? So pleased it's up and running again. Can't wait to try the meals once the kitchen is open. Lovely beer garden to enjoy to.

I stopped here for a coffee with my dogs on the way to Rutland water, I was warmly greeted and had a great tasting coffee. My dogs were very welcome with water bowl provided and the opportunity to buy some very tasty treats that came from a local business as well. I would very much recommend you stop by as the whole place felt very welcoming.

Didn’t stay at the hotel, just went to the pub. Had a comically awful experience. No alcohol free lager, or G&Ts, so ordered orange and lemonades. Except the lemonade was off and tasted foul. “There’s nothing wrong with the lemonade” one of the staff declared… until he tasted it. Ordered two burgers, one of them was raw in the middle, so sent it back but by this point (about 7.30pm they had run out of burgers (and let’s be honest, it’s hardly the most comprehensive menu, so it wasn’t exactly a niche item! .
