great hotel in a great location. the staff is very friendly and extremely attentive. that was amazing. iberico swarm was simply the best pig I ever tasted. it is at the upper end of the price table, but it is worth if they want a contract.

My favourite place to eat stay lots of happy times spent here, Relaxed, fantastic service , amazing food very comfy beds. I need to win the lottery then I could stay here more often. Highly recommend a stay never once have we been disappointed.

Our first time at Hambleton for lunch. Very relaxing with beautiful gardens Restaurant spacious but cosy. Service excellent. Taster menu amazing,sommelier chose a fantastic selection of wines that really did complement the exquisite flavours of the dishes. A most relaxing almost joyous day. Highly recommend. we went for a 20-year anniversary, and we were totally spoiled. eating was extraordinary, the staff was very attentive and the ambiente was beautiful. we really enjoyed sitting on the terrace with a drink in front of dinner. the garden is beautifully maintained and the staff of the reception was very welcoming. I'd like to go back.

My husband organised dinner and an overnight stay which were flawless. The staff were wonderful and the food outstanding. Our room had gorgeous views and everything we asked for was delivered without hesitation. I particularly appreciated the small touches included for my birthday such as the personalised menu and desert plate. Great stay and very much looking forward to visiting again

hamblet hall is a very nice farmhouse hotel at the ufer des rutland water near oakham. it has been holding a Michelin star since 1982 and the kitchens have been under the control of chef aaron patterson since 1992. the restaurant is classic with decent large, well spacious tables, with all quality napery, cutlery and crooked that they would expect. aaron pattersons eating fits well into this setting: there is a solid classic base with some modern twists. We visited at the weekend as a family to celebrate my hubby's big birthday with a meal in the restaurant. The weather was kind to us so we were able to enjoy the beautiful views across the water whilst enjoying a cocktail or two! Our experience was superb from the greeting at the door to the drinks, canapes and an amazing meal which was breathtaking. We felt so relaxed and so well looked after, we will certainly be back. Wow well done guys it's a 10 from the The Spence family!

important birthday dinner. absolutely first-class evening. drinks on the beautiful terrace before as dinner in the very comfortable dining room. the food was excellent. quality, taste and presentation well worthy of their Michelin star status. a kitchen at the top of the game. beautiful personal touches like the named menu and with the petit fours plate with the outlet piped. the personal has met the perfect balance between friendly and professional. best culinary experience in the east midlands? likely. highly recommended!

in a ära where casual eating and lack of formality (wassoever) seems to visit hambleton hall felt like a time travel. I have a few lifestyle blogs and books of late enlivened the lost art of civilized eating. how often have they put their table perfectly, well presented and all their best fucked and cute out? likely if they are entertaining? I must confess that I have made my fair share of slobbery, and we still choose to sit and eat before the television. I feel that after our little visit to hambleton hall, everything that will change.
