"Went to eat there after reading the positive reviews. However, when we went there the service was very poor the waitresses were cold and made us feel unwelcome (unlike other restaurants we’ve been in Alsace where you are welcoming and friendly). We also saw...a hair in the food and they reluctantly agreed to sort it out, which is again unusual for restaurants. The service took ages too we had to wait about 30 min for our starter to come and in the end spend nearly 3 hours for our visit due to the long delays. The food itself was ok, but some of the other restaurants we’ve been were nicer for a similar price. In short, I’d recommend trying the myriad of other places which have similar price, equal/better food and a far better and friendlier service."

"After dining at another Michelin 2star we were sceptical, especially after walking past a hugh silver barracuda sculpture set in the entrance to the small dining room.Nasti delivered in every way: creative dishes (eg char cooked in local beeswax), beautiful presentation, subtlety matching the dinnerware to the food being served…..including some old Alsatian plates to match the regional themed offerings. The food was well prepared and tasty, innovative but not trying to over reach and always not to far from the Alsatian roots. The game often comes from Mr. Nasti’s hunting and they now bake their own bread….also a treat with its own story. It’s a small place with a staff the seems to enjoy working together. La Table d’Olivier Nasti is worth a visit."

"In a word: succulent. If you want to dance your taste buds, it's one of the restaurants to discover. You would like to enjoy your family or friends to enjoy extraordinary dishes. We were entitled to a very professional staff, a suggestion force for the wine agreement, and to listen to our desires. The chef comes to greet you and presents his dishes on the cake. Congratulations to the chief and his teams. A big moment in a life."

"We stayed in Turckheim to visit the WWII museum (deserved stop) and find a place for lunch. We went from several, whose menus were the same old. Found Le Stewala and noticed the more interesting menu of the day. Found lunch to be far beyond our expectations. The Prix Fixe was beautiful sausages of two styles with red cabbage and noodles. The sausages were delicious and red cabbage was at a completely new level of excellence. The cream Brûlée was as silky as you want. Others had a wonderful trout and a dessert of fresh plums boiled in red wine and served with a Speculos ice cream. Would come back in a minute."

"L'Alchemille is a 1 star Michelin restaurant located in the Alsatian village of Kaysersberg.The menu here is a surprise, you just get to choose between 5, 7 or 9 course. The chef will gives what what he wants, what's fresh that time in his garden, and what he feels like cooking. I like the element of surprise so it wasn't an issue. Before you're asked if there are any ingredients you don't eat, or if you have any allergies,Service is good, not so much fluent in English but in a way or another you get to communicate. Wine list is good and includes wines for everyone's budget, somellier is more towards selling expensive wines, but he knows his job.Dinner kicked off with a bottle of Cremant,a nicely presented amouse bouche and fresh bread, It then followed with a variety of dishes which included potato mousse, beef tomato with basil snow. deer tartare, salmon, mustard zabaion, pigeon leg, munster and 2 desserts. The star of the night was the beef tomato with herbs and basil snow, followed by the pigeon with glazed peas, carrot puree and pigeon juice. To finish off we were given some petit fours, not bad but it can be improved.We later had a chat with chef Jerome Jaegle who surely has a passion for what he does, and no wonder he was awarded a Michelin star, his creativity on a daily basis is something few can do and maintain such a standard.Total came to around €130 including mid priced wine, 9 course is reasonably priced at €78.If you're in the area, it's a place you'd love to visit. I'll be back."
