"The Trafford Centre in Greater Manchester is the second largest shopping and leisure mall in the United Kingdom. The mall is built in Rococco/late Baroque style in design, with eclectic elements of Art Deco and Egyptian Revival. There are three domed atria along the length of the mall, and middle dome is supposed to be bigger than that at St Paul's Cathedral! Decorated in white, crystal and gold this mall has the largest food court in the all of Europe. The Orient is designed like the deck of a 1930s liner and seat 1,600 people and has over 30 restaurants, grills and bars. Yang Sing Cathay in the China Town section was our destination for lunch. The restaurant has indoor seating as well as a outside seating. We decided to sit outside and ordered a few dumplings, starters and soups. This is what we ordered – Minced Chicken and Sweet Corn Soup, Peking Hot and Sour Soup, Steamed Beef Dumpling in Ginger and Spring Onion, Steamed Pork and Prawn Sui Mai, Paper Wrapped Prawns with Water Chestnut and Coriander, Chicken and Sesame Cake and Beef Curry Samosa. The soups were a wee bit thick with corn flour for me. The Beef Curry Samosas were good. The dumplings were okay. They only serve three or four dumplings per portion. We were too full to try rest of the menu. Another time."

Amazing food as always. Great restaurant with a fantastic menu. Service wasn't the friendliest today but that didn't take away from how great the food was.

they eat very well, the staff is open and very sweet. the job comes fast and their personal is available to them, it helps if they don't know how to prepare the suppe. I order trust.

We had our 120th AGM here this year and it was the perfect venue for it. All staff promptly served our food and made sure we had our drinks topped up. Customer service was excellent and we really love the interior of the restaurant. A range of delicious dishes to choose from.

Looking for a good place to have lunch on a day trip to the Trafford Centre and came upon this family run restaurant in Chinatown . Imaginative oriental décor both inside and out and a few tables out on the street . Was welcomed by a friendly Chinese lady. Despite it being half-term holidays and very busy, she showed me to a nice inside table straight away and service was fairly quick. Waiters were very attentive. Wide choice of Cantonese dishes on the menu, some good vegetarian/vegan options and a children 's menu too. Decided on the £14.99 special lunch deal: a selection of dim sum (dumplings were delicious! followed by beef and mushrooms in oyster sauce with rice. Plate and food were pipi...

Sam's review: Tl;dr: Enjoyable food, quick service, halal food justifies the price. Arrival Visited with a party of 2 at 7PM. The main restaurant was fully booked out, but we were instead seated at the adjacent restaurant Wokooshii- a sister restaurant. I appreciated the decision, meaning we were sat down promptly. Service I had no issue with service, but likewise had nothing to praise about it, besides our chairs being pulled out for us, which was a nice gesture. The food arrived reasonably quickly. Food We ordered 3 starters. The squid was well-cooked and lightly seasoned. The second was Lai Wong Bau: aglutinous rice ball with a coconut custard centre. It was well made: soft, warm and gooe...

"I have seen some terrible reviews of la casita online, but if a person who writes online restaurant reviews teaches them everything if others are not completely legit. So I ignored them and went anyway and I am glad that I did it because it was a really delicious, good price menu with great friendly service. rich and I shared the choriqueso and the Guacamole shell to start. the choriqueso, as they may guess, is a tonne chorizo with a tonne melted cheese. Of course, that was **** delicious. the guacamole was also good, I am not sure what was achieved by being in a tortilla bowl, but it has definitiw nothing distracted. for the net I had tacos el pastor and rich had fajitas with huh and chorizo. the tacos were not strange hard dishes here and the filling very tasty. if I had any complaints here, it would be that the meat had a light "chalky " aftertaste, so possibly I would try to visit another taco filling on another. the hot sauce that comes with the tacos is pretty **** hot, they believe when they say that. rich 's only complaining was that the fajitas came with a large amount of filling and only two small tortillas. for drinking I had a bottle sol and a very good, very strong margarita. rich had a pint store and one around and koks. for two appetizers, two main and four drinks we paid about 50 pounds, which I thought was pretty good. I will be back in any case! I just hope that it will keep around the companies, as it seems to come and go in this place (so they will support them! ."
