"I visit most Friday evenings for a drink friendly atmosphere, good service. but we really need the background noise, i.e. the music I find is a distraction. it's the same with the television, but at least that's still. I'm not a sport fan, but I can understand how fans can see a game without comment because they can see what happens. if it is not a real game that is shown, no one seems to look so why they have the television on everything that is another distraction."

"I actually come here to breakfast regularly. before 12 they do a fantastic eier benediktin, ie royal and a full English for under five. I thought I was trying to eat an evening as it is open until 11 o'clock and it's date night. they have a two cure for 11 quid off putting, but the rest is really nice. I said with the baked pork mushroom with melted edam and an salat on the side. with my spicy tradition I ordered a sorrento. pepperoni, fried tweebel, chili, speck and huh on a tomato basis. the woman had florentino with cheese, spinat, oliven and a ei (fried) the basic was soggy in the middle of the pizza, but the ingredients were fresh and the za tasted...more"

"As a Father’s Day treat, I ordered the Vegan Portobello Burger and lattice fries, and I can honestly say, this was one of the worst meals I have ever received. I didn’t even eat it. It took an hour and a half to receive this horrific order and when I did, the fries were fused together in a wet clump. The burger, even though I stated no sauce, had two sauces mushed into whatever the main ingredient was. All the burgers advertised on the site say what is on the burger so I assumed this one would arrive as stated but if came caked in onions and sauce with not much else, bar a soggy bun. I am absolutely fuming to waste my money on such an abysmal, pathetic attempt at food."

"0/5 Worst food experience ever! Went there a week ago for two bacon rolls and the owner gave a piece of my bacon from my plate to a customer 's dog outside whilst the lady was making my rolls... Did not think much of this, maybe he cooked an extra one for the dog. Then I came back a week later today with a friend to have breakfast, got served a cold plate of 'English breakfast ' which had to be microwaved in front of me. I waited so long for my toast after the lady totally forgot about it that my friend finished eating his cold food and we had to go. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!"

"This was my first time in a combination of Bangladesh and Indian cuisine. It was beyond my expectation having had boneless tilapia fish and special fried rice. Not as spicy but very well cooked with proper sauces and the fish was sizzling. The special fried rice is by far better than the fried egg rice. This was complemented by a great wine. This is a rather small place but excellent service supersedes the size and also given the spotless environment. Very welcoming staff who really attend to you and listen. Next door is a great pub and four minutes away is a Picadilly line."

"We have been coming here for years but our recent experience was terrible. Service was appalling, they were not busy in the restaurant but very busy with take aways. We arrived at 7pm and left at 8.35 having only had a starter platter in that time. We waited almost an hour for our main course to arrive and then gave up and left. They still presented the full bill to us despite our dissatisfaction and when we complained they took only £5 off it. Wine took ages to arrive as did starters, as did water. They also took 15 mins to tell us they were now out of house white wine. Didn’t offer an alternative for the same price. The management here is clearly an issue, they also need to decide in the kitchen where their priorities lie. Diners or take away! We will not be going back anytime soon as we left hungry and went to another restaurant nearby. I hope you take this review seriously and take actions to ensure no one else has to sit though a similar experience"

"Perhaps it was down to the fact that there were a LOT of bookings on the Friday night we were there, but ... service was very slow, sadly. Surrounded by happy tables with plates overflowing with goodies, you might understand why our experience was 'average ' rather than great. Moreover, my first course of momo was delightful, delicious, and came with the BEST spicy chutney outside of Kathmandu! I wanted to lick the little bowl clean! That said ... my second course (also momo ha ha! took close to an hour to come, and was ... yikes ... only JUST warm enough to eat. Very disappointing. Next time, we might get takeaway instead! Thanks though."

"The food was delicious, but we received the wrong sauce with our starter, the wrong side dish with our soup, and were served chicken instead of beef. The juices we ordered were supposed to be a blend of pineapple, coconut, and apple, but all we could taste was apple, and it turned into a dark sludge. We waited at least 15 minutes for the bill before having to ask for it again."

"Being local and eating out a fair bit we were looking forward to trying this place out and when we saw a groupon I thought great way to try it so I called to book a table and the lady rudely said well we dont take groupon anymore . I explained it was dated until 19th July so she said ok then we will have to honour it . We turned up with a third person so were happy to spend extra and of course we would have had a few glasses of wine/beer extra so were not there on the cheap just to use up the coupon and to test the cuisine. Anyway the lady behind the counter totally ignored us so I asked where to sit and she pointed and said anywhere. We took a table and waited and waited (there were only 3 or 4 other tables of people there) so I went and got the menu 's myself. After choosing our dishes still no one had bothered to come over to us so I assumed it must be a self service place and went up to the counter to order. She told me to sit down and she will come over. Another 5 to 10 mins later nothing, not even a drink. She was doing a couple of coffees for a table but then we saw another coule come in and she went and served them so we had no chice but to walk out and say stuff the groupon. We went to Chianti restaurant instead where we were welcomed with open arms and happily spent £75 instead. Service is everything and I would guess the food in Onik must be great as you can only be this rude and ignorant if it is superb but sadly we will never know as i will never frequent this palce again. I live and work locally and they have not only lost our repeat business but those of others who ask me for a good restaurant in this area."

"I went to the pub at the end of November with some friends, and all of us (around 10 people) ordered food. Most of the dishes took over 30 minutes to arrive and were cold. When we asked the manager why there was such a long wait for cold food, he was very rude and we had to argue with him to have our meals remade. The second attempt at preparing the food was better, but some of the starters like the onion rings and popcorn chicken were soggy. We decided not to complain again to the manager and just left. It's unfortunate because the pub has a nice atmosphere, but it is poorly managed and some of the dishes are not well-prepared."

"Food is a class as always, undoubtedly lingering in house service was perfect at table 42, 07/11 @19.30, the downside is take away, masala dosa, sambhar soaked vada chana bhatura. Chana bhatura packed billed without chana on reaching home, the telephonic conversation with priyanka ends with a reply that next time free chana will be given How is this possible, every other time when we order through Uber as well bhatura is delivered with sambhar chutney without chana. We pay £6 odd for a bhatura without chana, is this fair? Take away service always is at low standard appalling response Sadly we never wish to experience this anymore Hoping SBH Management pays attention to this"

"Wonderful experience. First time in the area and we walked into the most welcoming environment, the owner treated my children so well and was very accommodating. The food was DELICIOUS. You can clearly tell there is a lot of effort into the preparation and the ingredients in the dishes. Favorite spot by far"

"I've lived in Acton for a year now and had never wandered into the Bridge cafe until this morning. It's a 10 min walk from West Acton and North Acton station, and only a short walk from where I live. I knew of the cafe from The Apprentice and had often wished it was open on the weekends when I was absolutely hanging and needed a fry up. So when I woke up this morning with a craving for beans on toast and bacon, I thought I'd give it a go. It's a modest space, no where to plug in a laptop, no where to charge up your phone, no fancy coffees and not even a bathroom for the public (the only downside perhaps). I think that's part of it's magic though. You come in, have your breakfast/lunch, enjoy the peace and quiet and then stroll off. The place was quite busy at 10 am, a haunt for local builders from the near by trading estate. The menu is simple, prices are fair and the service is great. I was particularly happy with the tea, proper builder's tea. And the breakfast was served quickly and hit the spot. The owner was friendly and we were able to have a chat, not something that often happens in busy chains. Before I left I was told I was welcome back any time. I'll definitely be back."

"We have as family driven past this place a number of times but never actually made a point of eating in as a family. Nice decor, small but not cramped. Menu is not the usual “Indian” selection, that’s because it’s a fusion of India and...Kenya.....less spice more focused on the grill. If your looking for a dish to write home about I’m afraid your page is going to be a lot of white space. The grilled chicken is nice and ticks the box and the curries are rather basic in flavor. The food fills the home and by the time you on your way it’s soon forgotten as the flavours are not memorable. Over all good simple basic food. Not sure if I would be rushing back. The waiter seemed to be in world of his own, maybe it was his first day. Food is a little pricey for what it actually is but understandable for where it is. You can’t win them all. They also dint have what was advertised in the menu, disappointing."

"This amazing restaurant opens only on Fridays and Saturdays. The food is very fresh, taste delicate yet robust, it has depth. Started with their home made bread amazing crust and with high quality butter which is packed with flavor. I had their signature sea bass.... I was impressed that the fish was just cooked to perfection... a fine balance to cook fish, and it was very fresh. And the mushroom risotto was amazing. First class execution of flavors. For dessert, I had their signature chocolate pot caramel and sea salt ice cream.... again delicious. The chocolate pot was rich and dense yet smooth, complemented by the refreshing sea salt ice cream. Even their house red is very good. The portions are very generous too. And the host, Wendy is very friendly and one who knows her food! Her customers have stayed with her for years... can see many loyal regulars. An amazing restaurant, will definitely go back."

"Avoid this place. We went for parantas, expecting freshly made hot ones. They were hard and stale, warmed up in the microwave. We asked for butter and received the miniature ones you get in hotels with breakfast. The Ras Malai had gone off. We highlighted this and got no apology. We received no bill, just a verbal quote. I questioned this as it was high considering the small amount of food we had. They charged us £3.60 for the miniature butters! When we questioned it, the staff were arrogant and rude. We left, vowing never to return."

"We had a fantastic family meal at Oligano’s and were completely wow’ed by their food and a whole experience. Our pizza, grill and mezze were absolutely delicious. It’s Lebanese cuisine but with a certain unique twist. We had three small kids and they really couldn’t do enough for us. It’s a family business run by Nisrine and her husband and we wish them all the luck and success in the world with their fab restaurant. Keep up the good work, guys!"

"We were a group of about 15 people. Our overall experience was mixed. The food was good. We ordered the mixed grill and the charsi chicken karahi. The grill at £32 is expensive for what it includes. Not a the grilled items were tasty either. I would suggest ordering separate grilled items like chops, malai chicken etc rather than the mixed grill. Surprisingly, the karahi portion for a full karahi was on the smallish side as well but at £27 acceptable. We asked for tap water and were told that the water in the taps is contaminated for some reason and we should get some bottled water which we did an obvious lie because they would have to shut down the business if indeed the water was contaminated. Service was very slow with non attentive staff. Had to ask for drinking glasses 3 times before we were given some disposables. Forks and spoon took a while and the mixed grills were served without any naan which took another 5 minutes. The bottles of sauces on the tables were sticky and sickeningly dirty. There was a pile of used dishes on the floor that the staff had not bothered me to clear up because they were busy at the time. We almost left the restaurant as it looked very unhygienic. Typical Asian establishment that has compromised on cleanliness because they are now a successful business such a shame."

"I stayed here recently with my husband and it is a perfect location with excellent connections into central London and also Heathrow airport. The staff are really helpful and friendly nothing is too much trouble for them. I must mention Kante from the bar/restaurant what a fantastic asset to Hilton this staff member is. He is always smiling and brightens my day whenever I see him and he makes a great latte."
