"It was the best of meals, The second, not so much. On the Wednesday evening we explained that we needed one gluten free meal. We were immediately handed over to a charming lady, who we took to be the proprietor. She assured us that she would confer with the chef. We ordered a “coquelet roti” with a cream and grape sauce and a fillet steak served without sauces. Chips were covered in gluten but the chef proposed a salad for the steak and the “coquelet” came with a Gratin Dauphinoise. All the food was delicious. The chicken was soft and sweet the sauce had a depth of flavour aided and abeted by the small bursts of sweet grape juice from the grapes within it. The steak was perfect; maximum of flavour from the seared outside, maximum of soft juiciness from the tender pink interior. Dessert was a fruit crumble that had not had the crumble added, pronounced delicious, and a crème broulee. The crème was not a traditional baked vanilla egg custard. It tasted like a flour based preparation and was devoid of vanilla. All in all, the service had been attentive and the food mostly great. We determined that we would return for a second meal and looked forward to it.Mistake! Sunday evening, the waitress remembered us, and promised to check for gluten free food. She checked the Champaign sauce that was served with the Salmon. We could not have it. She was not aware that the rice, the dauphinoise and the chips all contained gluten. She suggested salad. We said that would be fine. The Dorade Royale, one of my favourite fish was sold out but they could offer Sea Bass. O.K., that would do. The salad delivered with the dry salmon was a simple bag mix of leaves, not the fresh mixed salad it had been four days before. It had brown stalks and tasted stale. The fish was undoubtedly the worst cooked fish I have ever been served. It had clearly been laid on a metal tray and placed under an electric grill. It had not been turned or moved until it was served. Consequently, the top skin was like leather. It defied my efforts with the serrated knife provided to cut through it. I had to prize it off to get to the very dry fish beneath. A simple glaze of oil would have ensured that the skin became crispy and a delicious part of the fish. It would also have ensured that the (Chef?) remembered to turn the fish under the grill. When I turned the fish on the plate, the lower side skin was a soggy mess where all the juices had soaked it through. Scraping it off, the second fillet was edible, despite the attentions of the chef. We told the waitress what was wrong with our food. She said she would tell the chef. We don’t know if she did. We did not see him."

"it is better to book c is small and especially often complete in season excellent menu fish wolf and tuna very fresh and very good. Very good desserts of the simple ice cream with chocolate melting, and the pannacotta not sparkling at all.Menu simple but good child.Very good vote of finely oaky cogolin provence but which remains on the elegant fruit.Freshly perfect. A single regret that costs a star: make the extra share of potatoes for children... a small non-commercial gesture that can cost expensive when a serious assessment. But we were warned, they told us that we recommended potatoes. So no worries about the seriousness of the restaurant and the service.But apart from this (very) small drawback we loved the restaurant the cuisine and the wines. we recommend this restaurant that is worth the detour even for a business meal!!!!"

"the first impression is good. a nice beach restaurant with airy furnishings and beautiful views.Since we had not reserved, we were asked to wait half an hour.When this half an hour was over, nothing changed at the location and we were guided to our place.The beverage order was not properly accepted and we received other drinks or drinks that we had not ordered. The burger was rather an interpretation of a burger-like court and really did not taste.The salat in the burger would have been generous with an salat leaf and at the tomate it did not look better. the broth was soaked with an undefined sauce. the price of this burger is at 17€.ABER the worst were the nuddies with MEERESFREIGHTS!!!The noodles were extremely boiled.The sauce had no taste and the muscheln were also not particularly good.You did not have these spaghetti eating!!!A break at the noodle!!!(price of noodles: 19€)The service was super, the services were nice. "I wish I had found Chez Longu earlier during my stay in Sainte Maxime. It's the kind of no-nonsense restaurant where professionals actually spend time making you feel at home. Food and service are excellent and it's not too expensive. When we were there, the place was packed and it took a while before our food was ready. The owner stopped by our table to apologize, then later stopped by again to ask whether we liked it (we sure did and I told him!). There's often a line of people waiting to get a spot, so a reservation can come in handy."

"Arnaque faites attention à votre addition !!! J'ai commandé un diabolo fraise à 4,5€ avec une limonade déjà servi au bar sans BULLES. Salade césar facturé 22€ au lieu de 21€. Nous avons pris 2 plats du jours à 15 € sauf qu'au moment de payé les plats nous sont facturés 22€, nous allons gentiment voir la patronne pour lui dire, et elle nous réponds que fallait lui préciser au moment de la commande qu'on voulait le plat du jour et non le plat dans la carte (sacahnt qu'on avait même pas ouvert la carte! , et que dans ces cas là nous aurions eu moins en quantités!!! Déjà que c'était léger j'ose imaginer ce que nous aurions eu... Elle n'a rien voulu savoir!!! Patronne pas commerciale et pas agréable. C'est dommage car les serveurs et la cuisine sont très corrects."

"We discovered this restaurant by chance when we were leaving the city theater and we hadn't had dinner. At 10:30 p.m., the very friendly owner agreed to welcome us and set up a table for 6 people. Asian restaurant with a very kitsch decoration but which gives the impression of escaping to Asia. We were not disappointed by the dishes which were all delicious with a very careful presentation (small decoration with carrot and radish sculpted in the shape of flowers, lobster, birds, etc. with a particular recommendation for the spring rolls which we loved. We would like to thank the boss for his sympathy. Top quality/price ratio. If I had just one remark to make for this restaurant: to print and reissue new menus because the ones given are really old and can give, at first glance, a bad image of the restaurant (my menu was borderline sticky while the quality of the dishes and service is there. We will come back !"

"Je suis allé chez Le Montana pour la première fois sur la recommandation d’un amis et j’ai été très impressionné par la qualité de la nourriture et le service amical. Le restaurant est situé dans un endroit pratique et facilement accessible, ce qui en fait un excellent choix pour une soirée entre amis ou en famille. Le menu propose une grande variété de plats français, allant des fruits de mer aux viandes en passant par les pâtes. J’ai opté pour les moules aux 13 sauces au choix et je n’ai pas été déçu. Les moules étaient parfaitement cuites et les sauces étaient savoureuses sans être trop lourdes. Mon ami a choisi le steak grillé et a également été très satisfait de son choix. Le personnel était très accueillant et serviable tout au long de notre repas. Ils ont pris le temps de nous expliquer les différents plats du menu et ont été très attentifs à nos besoins tout au long du repas. Dans l’ensemble, j’ai passé une excellente soirée chez Le Montana et je recommande vivement ce restaurant à tous ceux qui cherchent une expérience culinaire française authentique"

"Nous avons déjeuné ici avec des amis aujourd'hui, le personnel est très sympathique et serviable. Nous avons tous choisi le Plat de jour, moi le Poisson et 3 autres la Bavette. Tout était très bien cuisiné et présenté. Nous avons tous convenu d'un excellent rapport qualité/prix et nous reviendrons certainement."

"Choquée par l'attitude de la responsable de salle dame aux cheveux courts qui a humilié devant mon ami et moi un jeune serveur qui débutait probablement la saison pour la première fois dans cette entreprise ... Elle l'a obligé de répéter la commander qu'on avait commandé en lui disant d'un ton arrogant : c'est moi qui prend les commandes ! Choquée par l'attitude de cette femme injuste envers ce jeune homme très poli et qui voulait bien faire , cela nous a littéralement gâché le repas et ne nous a pas donné envie de revenir ! Dommage car la cuisine est très bonne !"

"Merci à nos amis de nous avoir fait découvrir cet établissement. Les menus à 45€ valent le détour, tant sur la quantité que sur la qualité. Le cadre est très agréable. Petit bémol : je trouve mesquin de la part du patron, à la question suivante : pourrions-nous avoir quelques olives ou tapenade a grignoter avec nos apéros ? de nous avoir répondu : Vous pouvez choisir des planches à partager à la carte Je trouve que lorsqu 'on prend 3 menus à 45€, on peut se fendre de quelques amuse- gueule. En dehors de ce détail, excellent rapport qualité prix."
