As we were English, as was the guy serving us, he wanted to tell us about him, his life and how he had got to where he was etc. etc. and etc The meal was ok as was the price but nothing special and there...is no way that we would return any time soon unless we were really hungry and hopefully a bit deaf. I came here as recommended, ok, so that the setting is not perfect outside, but inside it is nice clean and relaxed, very welcoming and eating excellent, they get good products and excellent friendly service and cooked to perfection and price reasonable what could be more. they want (oh yer clean toilets are nice in the heart of frankreich)

eating at this place is always delicious the staff is great. there is a set menu of three curses at only fourteen euro, it is very good worth in my opinion. they can also order in the menu. the resturant is quite spacious. the bier on the hahn is very seductive. if you are looking for a great lunch experience in lodeve, I recommend this brasserie!

Have eaten here several times, and tonight was up to the usual high standard. We had a tapas assortment as an entree, more then enough for a couple, followed by the night's special, curry Caribbean for my self, and the Noix d'Entrecote Black Angus steak...(au poivre). This restaurant is set near an industrial estate but that should not put you off! Richard and Suzanne have been running it for just over a year. We dined in September and had a superb meal from one of the the fixed price menus euros. The food was excellent and the ambience is charming. You can see where the action takes place in the kitchen. The owners are English with french Staff. We are very happy to recommend the restaurant particularly if you are looking for something a little different.We wish them well.

We have eaten here twice now while visiting family Larry and Sue Wood and other close family and friends. Both times the food and service was excellent and the wine went down well too. I had the burger (im not very adventurous with food...so its great they cater for all needs) which was far superior to the one i had had earlier that week. Everyone at the table had different meals and they all enjoyed what they had. This has become a must on our list when visiting Lodeve and im sure we will be back in the not too distant future. Thankyou Richard and Suzanne for a very enjoyable day.

The welcome was very warm by the owners and the restaurant had been very well decorated for the evening. The music was not only appropriate but at a level that encouraged clients to chat. It was a truly convivial evening. The food, Oh My Word,...the food was splendid. I started with Smoked Salmon Three ways and a delightfully light parcel of Prawns with a wonderful sauce ... It floated into my mouth. The main was a beef dish I hope that the Chef will forgive my use of the word Stew ... But It tasted of Beef, not sauce as so many French restaurants serve and wasa delight. To finish we had the best sticky toffee pudding that I've ever eaten. The staff were charming, attentive and not obtrusive... Visualizza piatti
