The food was very nice, although the presentation is a bit kitch. Simple presentation of good ingredients always is more convincing. The service was very attentive and nice. The selected wine was not great though. For a glass I had expected more then a...housewine. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing interesting about it either, a house wine I would dat.

This is a small restaurant with only a handful of tables, so stop by and make a reservation or call. We found out at our last visit that the place has new owners and with that a new menu. So the pierade that we set our minds on was no longer available. Small change of plans and we went for the raclette. That was not a bad option either. Basically the kitchen offers traditional regional food. Everything we have tried has been tasty and well prepared. The place itself is very cozy and the staff friendly. Price level reasonable.

We ordered two dishes and this review is based upon those two. We might just have been unlucky, or ordered the wrong thing, but the food was not good. The dishes were Entrecote and a mix of beef and chicken which was grilled by ourselves on a pierrade (grill-stone).The Entrecote was extremely chewy and full of fat. What could be eaten tasted quite OK though and it was grilled perfectly as per my request.The pierrade meat was not marinated at all so the meat was more or less tasteless.The only thing saving the place was the nice waitress and her good service. what a pleasure to try again gastronomic cuisine! this restaurant offers a clearly marked vegan menu, either 3 dishes, 4 dishes or just a dish. what is written in the menu is not as a gastronomic restaurant, it depends on the mood of the cook. the chef is clear about vegan and non vegan items (they don't find a honey in vegan dressings for example. the restaurant works only with extremely local producers that make the experience even more wonderful! the price is very moderate due to the quality, we were two with the 4 courses menu, I also took the wine and meal accommodation (18€ and it cost us 116€ overall. I can recommend the place!

I would have put 5 stars if possible, but the application does not give it the possibility. restaurant that offers a full vegetarian or vegan menu! the menus are in 4 dishes and are worth 46€: a butchery (composed when I came from three beautiful mouths) a small entrance a large entrance a dish a dessert and delicious homemade breads. possibility to add cheese in addition to vegetarians. all menus are surprises and change over the seasons and inspire the chef. we cannot know in advance, but let yourself be guided you can trust them. Struggled to find somewhere open on a Tuesday in Gerardmer and found this place whilst driving around. Luckily we were early (7ish) and got a table, as it soon filled up (and is quite small). The room is tastefully decorated to reflect local industry. There are plenty of Alsacienne dishes on the menu, and we had a variety of these. I had the hot rolled park to start (which was delicious) followed by the Choucroute which was enormous (and delicious).
