Lovely food. Great service. Not a top posh restaurant but really good for a meal in Essex. Recommend the kleftico feast ! Visit often just for that ! Very good value

WOW we ordered a delivery for the first time from here and it was amazing, the food was excellent from the taste to value, this is now my favourite take out restaurant. We will certainly be ordering again.

The mains and service were Ok without being special. The Tiger prawn starters were clearly straight out or a packet. You can buy 20 for £6 in the supermarket and we got 5 for £8 and they were tiny prawns and cheap filo. We also asked them to turn the background music down a bit as we could hear each other but nothing happened. Not great and sorry but we won't be coming back,

The restaurant was too small and we felt rushed. The starter consisted of thawed prawns on avocado with sauce, which was not satisfying. The chicken in the main dish was dry. There was a 10-minute wait between my wife receiving her wine and me getting my drink. The bread and dips were overpriced for what seemed like kebab bread from a supermarket. It was disappointing as the staff were very friendly and attentive.

This restaurant is so lovely! The staff are beyond friendly, and show genuine gratitude for your visit there. There food is authentic and delicious. We had the swt menu which was 3 dips and bread each to start, a main course of lamb which fell off the bone with rice, potatoes and alot of salad. Then dessert which was Baklava with a plate of fresh fruit. That was £24.95 pp and more than enough. This was my second visit to the restaurant and I wont hesitate to visit again. We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and decided to dine there on a Sunday night. It was not very busy, but that did not deter us. We were greeted warmly and found the menu to be good with very reasonable prices. We requested a slight variation to our order and were pleased to receive exactly what we asked for. The amount and quality of food were the best we had experienced in a long time. Fortunately, they had a unique Cypriot drink that added to the special evening. I have been a patron of this restaurant since it first opened, even when it was known as Candles. I have always brought friends and family here and always recommended it. However, my most recent experience was disappointing. I booked a table for my son's birthday for 11 people, but upon arrival, we found that the table was only set for 8. We were not seated together and had to wait for another table to finish their meal. Eventually, we were given two separate tables, which meant we were not able to sit together as a party. Great staff so feel bad giving this place 1 star but the food was so below standard and nothing like any Greek restaurant I have been to before. There was regulars when we visited so I’m really not sure what we’re missing and they clearly get a lot of traffic from the nearby theatre. The starter of halloumi was 2 of the smallest slices of halloumi I have ever had my husbands whitebait was somewhat better but very soggy not what you want for whitebait. My main of swordfish is where my real issue lies, for the price I was first of all surprised to see it did not come with any sides literally a tiny bit of swordfish with some salad sitting in a sauce which made the lettuce wet.
