"We visited Landsberg am Lech as we are staying close by and went for dinner at this place after going through the reviews on TP. We were not all disappointed. I had a cream of wild garlic soup which was delicious as was the soup with ravioli that my companions had. My companions went for roast beef and for Argentinian steak whereas I went for the perch. It was all very good as was the excellent dessert (in my case, apfelstudel with delicious ice-cream and whipped cream). It is true that the service is a bit slow but one does not mind as long as the great Bavarian beer is readily available. For five of us, the bill was € 211. If you're in the area, don't miss out."

A very nice place, beautiful decoration, clean, excellent local beer, menu plenty of good options and a very nice service! The waitress was very kind and propose us a great staying!

the food and wine list were OK, and the service was quite good. The interior was very traditional and well done. There was some smell of cigarette smoke from the bar area, although no one was smoking when we were there.

The photo is incorrect as it is near the river, about 1 mile from the Hexenturn and the Hexenviertel. I will submit a correct photo upon going through my photo file. Why am I so certain? I grew up in Landsberg and know this spot well as I also visit regularly. We generally have lunch here with supper in town.

When we arrived we were seated outside on a warm evening. The menus came immediately but after that the service went downhill. The servers were very kind, but the service was not good. Our staters arrived with our main meal and the wine did not come out until we were almost finished. With all that said I must say the food was very good and fresh.

The interior is lovely and the décor is all witch related.We had a good meal, roast pork and a very good steak.Service was good although only one girl but she was doing an excellent job of looking after a pretty busy sitting.Bit on the expensive side, but I suspect that a lot of Landsberg am Lech would be like that as it's such a tourist destination.

We spent a very pleasant evening in Am Hexenturm. The menu was very much as you would expect for a traditional Southern German kitchen. We dined on seasonal venison which was excellent. The menu is quite extensive - maybe a few too many options...? Staff extremely attentive, despite a fairly heavy workload. All in all a good stopping off location for any one wishing to dip into good local cuisine.

If you're in Landsberg you're already a winner just being there. If you're hungry and want good traditional local food in a charming restaurant with excellent service, you win again with a visit to Cafe und Weinstube am Hexenturm. You can sit inside the very plesant dining room or outside in nice weather. The menu is available in English. See their excellent website for pictures and menu selections.

We enjoyed our main courses of the Swabian trilogy and roast beef. We would have liked to try the puddings but we were never asked if we wanted to see the menu. We therefore left disappointed. One waitress, who was rushed off her feet, was serving at least 10 tables. I suggest anyone interested in visiting, just stays for one course, because you won't obtain a second unless you plan to stay for longer than the 2 hours we were there.
