my work mate and I had the bier broken cadjau and chips, good value for the size of the fish! ... very recommended is everything I have to say! beautiful pub, great atmosphere and friendly staff native with various drinks on tap....Worth a look when they stay here

This lovely pub in the countryside is a hidden gem. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the great food. The old bar with a fire burning was charming, and the rooms were clean and modern. It's a bit off the beaten track, but definitely worth the visit. We will definitely be returning, especially knowing that new things are on the horizon.

We went for a stroll along the river and popped into the Angel Inn for some lunch. The pub was nicely decorated and the bar staff were welcoming and friendly. We brought our dog in too which is great as he comes everywhere with us....The food was excellent and home cooked, not pre-packaged and the price was good too! We will be back! https

We don't come to this restaurant often enough, but every time we do, it feels like home. The atmosphere is stylish and welcoming, with no need for reservations. The staff is friendly and professional, serving freshly cooked meals from a diverse menu. They also offer a good selection of hand-drawn ale. We highly recommend this place, not just for special occasions, but for a tasty and enjoyable dining experience.

This pub has a virtually fully gluten free menu. Every dish is so tasty that you can almost forget the restrictions imposed on those of us cursed with dietary allergies in other establishments. To be able to eat lasagne complete with garlic bread and properly...battered fish and chips outside of my house is nothing short of heaven. Thanks to all the staff and Lisa and Andy for turning eating out from embarrassing and disappointing to the pleasure it was before I became gluten free.

We last visited about years ago and the food was superb the operation ran like a well oiled machine and the service was first class. We don't live in the area so hadn't been back, but for mothering Sunday we decided to...make the effort. We booked for people. When we arrived they didn't seem to be expecting us and weren't ready, We were left to set the table ourselves. The choice of food was restricted to sunday roast, which would have been good, if the food hadn't been so terribly poor. The price was very cheap, but the quality was very disappointing.
