"The restaurant in Barres Brauwelt is a beautiful rustic and cozy but very dark place. The ambience fits perfectly with a typical brewery place and above all with the versatility of decoration, which consists of all kinds of brewery. As regards food and beverages, the selection is not excessively creative or versatile, but very appealing. We were there for breakfast on Sunday, which is nicely prepared, but a little more choice could definitely not hurt. Nevertheless, everything is available, which necessarily belongs to a good breakfast, such as a sufficient selection of rolls, small croissants, cold cuts and cheese. I especially like the rolls that are freshly baked and have a really good quality. But also the fresh waffle vinegar or the delicious fruit salad make a really good impression and taste accordingly good. However, I lacked other sweets, margarine and a little more salad to perfect the otherwise quite round impression. For me, however, the weak point of the service was quite slow and very attentive. For example, the waffleless was initially refilled and the juice was also emptied several times without being filled. This would be possible more precisely because, for example, we were not even asked if we wanted something, not even when we arrived at the restaurant. In other words, the possibility of ordering coffee specialities also demanded their own use; but overall a beautiful place with original charm that will delight lovers of classic German cuisine."

"Exceptionally well-run hotel. I'm professional at another hotel in Germany every day. Often there are houses where everything goes perfectly. Here the very motivated and friendly staff is very well managed. Despite great application and stress, people in the restaurant are always friendly and helpful. The food is always freshly cooked. They even brought the salad into my room. I would never have expected such a conversation despite the full restaurant. Also the spa is clean, comfortable, simple from the finest. Here the opening hours are very good. Of course, everything costs money, I'm aware of it, but only that's why I'm going to this hotel more often. For these reasons, I will definitely book this hotel 6x next year. I will also book the hotel because of the sauna offer, even if I have to drive extra larger Km-Bogen. Thank you for this in Germany."

"Also, man merkt, dass die Kundschaft hauptsächlich das Essen bestellt, sich dann nur abholt oder gleich bringen lässt. Es ist dort nun nicht sehr gemütlich. Klein und wenig Platz. Aber, dafür schmeckt es nach wie vor sehr gut, und das ist ja die Hauptsache."

"Wir sind spontan hergekommen und haben einen Tisch für 2 Personen bekommen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Essen schmeckte gut. Es gab allerdings ein paar Dinge, die uns nicht gefallen haben. Wir haben eine Flasche Wein bestellt, es war jedoch nicht möglich den Wein im Vorfeld zu probieren. Das kenne ich aus anderen Restaurants anders. Der Kellner brachte dann den Wein und die Gläser, einschenken mussten wir allerdings selber. Wir hatten eine Vorspeisenplatte, die war ansprechend und geschmacklich gut, aber auch nichts Besonderes. Als Hauptgang hatten wir Lachs und Rumpsteak. Die waren beide super! Allerdings fragte der Kellner bei der Bestellung nicht nach den Beilagen, die man sich aussuchen konnte. Ich hatte das auf der Karte falsch gelesen und selber nichts ausgewählt. Mir wurden dann einfach Pommes serviert. Bei meiner Begleitung war der Salat mit einen extra Dressing serviert. Bei mir wurde nur Öl über den Salat gegeben. Die Bezahlung war mit Karte leider nicht möglich. Das sollte allerdings heute in einem modernen Restaurant der Fall sein. Fazit: Es war ein netter Abend aber nicht außergewöhnlich. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4"
