This auberge which used to be excellent changed owners last year. We went last November and the service was abysmally slow but we decided to give it another try tonight. We were pleasantly surprised. The service was very pleasant and efficient. The food was not...extraordinary but good home cooking. I had the Menu de Saison for 34 euros with a starter of asparagus risotto, main course of pintade with polenta and mixed vegetables and polenta which I really enjoyed and the dessert was a gratin of fruit (not something I would choose . My husband had langoustine ravioli in a nice sauce, medallions of pork filet and a berry pavlova . All quite acceptable. We would go back again from time to time.

A huge improvement in standards. Though living locally. we had avoided this restaurant for some years. Under the previous and current owners, the quality of the food had been disappointing and the service appalling. A recent dinner showed that the place has got back on track. While the dining room will never be anything than barn-like, it is worth a visit. The menu is not huge, but there is good variety and the wine list is similarly small, but interesting. The price of the two fixed menus was 35 and 41 Euro. We had the latter and were very satisfied.
