"Extremely unfriendly, children are a disturbing factor. We were encouraged to give up more and more villages to the children... poor Germany! A family in the neighboring table had to go fast, as there was absolutely no possibility for the smallest (about 12 months old) to change the diaper, even here mega unfriendly staff. Our children (6, 7 and 9) ordered lime with straw. In the drinks were long macaroni, the children found the straw cool for food. At the 2nd drink round of children, things were missing, on polite demand an rude no, there are nix more... The children built small houses from the drink coasters. At the Treses, they were ignored 3x by the service when they really asked polite (complete sentence, please, per you) for a few more substitutes. While we waited for the bill, the kids were allowed to get out. In these about 7 minutes they probably redesigned the terrace, so at least the staff played on. On the terrace was not a single guest who had harassed. It was neither broken nor thrown around, no chair changed... When the house was left, it was loudly complained who the parents were from these terrible children. The most important: price cute children portions ready for food. No payment with EC possible. Children not desired. No fresh diapers for babies"

The atmosphere here is touristic and free. The filter coffee fine and at this view it is a good dream. Moritzburg is always worth a trip. Thanks to the staff.

very bad quality of warm drinks (kakao, coffee etc.) also seems to be the staff and the chef not able to adequately address to the lack of quality. we do not recommend the bärenhäusl in any case. Visualizza piatti

catastrophic service and lack of flexibility in ordering the feeds guarantee a solid poor two-star rating. It is obvious that people are more interested in getting a lot of tourists through than leaving satisfied guests back.

during the midday with the best weather in the beer garden with views of the castle. centrally located in the center of the village near the bus stops and on the large parking lot. for guests of the house a limited number of parking spaces are available in the property. service staff very friendly and accommodating. order was quickly received and the food came without a longer waiting period. quality of the food, tellerschnitzel with potato salad, very good. we liked it and we recommend the restaurant to continue and definitely come back. the position of the bear neck is quite good, therefore certainly also the number of guests. Unfortunately, the location is also the only good one. the service forces are quite sluggish, take up the order and are rather inflexible. at the end we did not really get what we had actually ordered or eating was simply not good. boiled, inadequately spiced and the extras or the special requests due to allergies were simply not considered or forgotten. I don't want to subvert any intention at this point. we were very disappointed and would unfortunately no longer come back. a pity, then from the outside the bärenhäusl makes a good impression.

We came to dinner after our visit to the castle. We sat down and studied the menu, and I guess we lasted until our waitress was upset. After we decided to eat something, we had a traditional German dish (I can't remember, so it wasn't so great), but since it is May, I always try the crème of the asparagus soup, whenever I can and it wasn't fresh and the rest of the meal was not so memorable, except I asked for another cyclist and she cleaned several tables and took other tables orders and then realized them after my half. When she remembered my last, I never said that we were ready for the check and I gave my credit card over and she said we only take cash.

""Where shall we eat in Moritzburg?" we asked our hosts before we set out from Dresden.Adams Gasthof, they said. Right across from the Schloss. Hmmm. Something to take under advisement. The GPS took us off our track and into a snowdrift. A fellow from the village came along and helped me push. Back onto firm ground -- "We're actually trying to get to Moritzburg. Which way should we go?" Forward to the church, left, then at the traffic signal right... "Danke vielmals! Und noch eine Frage - in Moritzburg wo sollen wir essen?"Adams Gasthof, he said.Well, that decided it. Adams Gasthof it would be.We came down the main street of the town, across the little narrow-gauge railway tracks, past the various hotels and shops... no signs for Adams Gasthof, or none that we saw... Hmmmph. Had we missed it? We were at the Schlossteich, the castle's moat-lake... oh, the hell with it. Left-hand turn along the road that parallels the lake's bank. And, to take another run past the various shops and signs, first left again, and -- and by golly, there on our right it stood, Adams Gasthof, parking in the courtyard or behind. Goal! Goal! Goooooooaaaaallllll! (Well, we were hungry after all that pushing.)For centuries the place has served travellers through Moritzburg from its privileged location at the castle gate, a gift of the Kings of Saxony. The architecture and the menu both drip tradition: High ceilings, dignified plasterwork, and tall windows with white frames and mullions set off the dark wood of the entryways, the blond wood of the parquet floors. Bits of ungulate skullcap and antler are everywhere overhead, which I mention only in case you're morbid that way. Carp, and not a hint of mud in its flavour, from the castle's waters, venison, red cabbage with apples, potatoes with gravy, a proper salad, good beer all contributed to an excellent meal... but dreadful "Christmas music" over the in-house tannoy took away from it. And, as too often still in what used to be East Germany, standard credit cards were not accepted. Our Dresden hosts, our village car-pusher, both were right to recommend Adams Gasthof. We recommend it too, as long as you have a decent wodge of cash in your pocket; certainly you'll enjoy the food and the decor. (Look out for the stuffed fox smoking a pipe.) And if you elect to go, as long as it's not in the run-up to Christmas, you probably won't have to listen to Michael Jackson rendering, in both senses, O HOLY NIGHT -- so your meal will be much happier than was ours."
