Es muy buen restaurante y con un buen precio. La comida, muy rica aunque casi todo lo que tienen es pescado. Vistas muy bonitas. Buen servicio y te dan la comida rapido.

Hay que ir a este lugar y comprobar in situ ,la magia que nos rodea ...las ruinas de Baelo por un lado,la magnífica playa de Bolonia por otro,enfrente África y saborear los exquisitos platos de este restaurante.

Visiting a dear friend in Vejer who wanted to show us Bolonia..what an amazing location..the Roman ruins, the perfect beach. Had great service, delicious food (shrimp tortilla, bacalao), perfect chilled white wine. You could spend all day here and have a great meal. A very special day I will never forget. Visit the coast of Andalusia you will be impressed....and I am from northern California!

Went to visit Playa Bolonia and, after climbing the dune, we returned to Bar Otero to eat. Tosta with tuna was melt in the mouth good and the chipirones a la plancha (grilled baby squids) were so tender the best I've had so far in Spain. The mussels with a fresh salsa style dressing were huge and very tasty. We decided to return the next day and we tried the choco en salsa (cuttlefish in a tomato sauce) as well as everything we'd eaten the previous day. The choco was so incredibly tender simply delicious. Very friendly staff, very helpful with recommendations and, also, with advice on whether a racion or 1/2 racion was right for each dish You should absolutely visit this beautiful beach and,...

Don’t get me wrong, the food was perfectly ok, normal Andalusian fried seafood and fish, steak and chips, and the ubiquitous chick peas and spinach. But what a disappointment from the meals we’ve had here before which were inspired, modern, fusion based. The meals centred around tuna and worth the drive from Cadiz for lunch. Today no tuna dishes because there was no delivery? Barbate is literally down the road and it’s the height of tuna season now. Service was a bit surly and they had to be reminded for the wine and forgot our coffees. Perhaps there has been a change in the kitchen.
