"We are on a family trip to Whitley Bay for my father’s 75th birthday with our two young sons. Upon arriving, we parked up and popped into the Beefeater for a quick lunch and a few drinks. It was certainly a nice way to start our trip! The food was fabulous—hot, tasty, and cooked to perfection. The staff were prompt, professional, and provided exceptionally friendly service. A special shoutout to the manager, Scott, who made our visit truly memorable. He noticed it was my father’s birthday and went above and beyond to make it special. After our lovely lunch, Scott brought over a signed card from the staff, a bottle of beer, and some chocolates. My father was very thankful for the kind gesture; it added wonderfully to his celebrations. Highly recommended!"

Had Sunday dinner just the right amount nice food but very slow service but did keep us updated and got free pints so didn't mind much

Average bar standard. Nothing wrong with it but lacking in selection. The location is really the best right by the beach, south east facing meaning it gets the light in the morning and early afternoon.

Came for breakfast and seen the sausages were over cooked, fried eggs were very rubbery like they had been sitting there for an hour hash browns were the only thing that was nice. Ended up having cereal and a coffee.

Great place great food the lady serving us was loveky but took ages for our drinks and even longer for our meal we had to give them a nudge as we were going to a show but got it all in the end just had to quickly eat up.

I ordered a a beef burger and a baconeater burger for my son, both burger is basically the same size with the same amount of chips on the size, but somehow the beef burger is £8 but the baconeater is £15, also both meat in the burger is cold, and the baconeater burger only have 2 bacon, which in the picture in the menu, it has more and seems like it's much bigger. The waitress seeme like she is tired and doesn't care about us. And the food took almost 45 minutes to arrive. Would definitely not recommend.
