We had a great evening here. The service was great, the cocktails potent and the food was genuinely superb. We all had different dishes and everyone was excellent. The tomato mozzarella salad with raspberry was delicious. The chicken cauliflower risotto amazing. What a find - superb ingredients - no cutting corners and a real balance of flavour. Try it you will not be disappointed.

Great discovery! One of the best tables in recent years in this price range. A professional and friendly service at a time, a small but pleasant and well chosen interior. We feel a real coherence between what's in the plate all around it. I recommend very strongly and I will return to it as soon as possible! I was also a member of the group of ladies on the cycling holiday mentioned in the previous review and can definitely endorse the comments made. I had booked the restaurant after reading the good reviews and had asked if a birthday cake could be provided. The waiter really looked after our group of 12 and the service was exceptional. We chose Le Bistrot Des Globe-Trotteurs of course after reading reviews her on trip. We stayed in Bordeaux for 6 days, and chose different restaurant for both lunch and dinner every day. Le Bistrot Des Globe-Trotteurs was definitely the best choice throughout the entire stay. The food was excellent, and the menu intriguing compered to others. The waiter was friendly, attentive and cheerful. The interior design was also somewhat different. This created a good atmosphere and a very pleasant evening. In other words a highly recommendable restaurant.

With the girlfriends decided to meet around a good plate. After watching the comments, we decided to come and eat here. We booked a table. The welcome was great! The hot spot and a small card (4 admissions, 4 dishes, 4 desserts) that does not make it easy to choose because everything seems so good. The products are of very good quality. The dishes are just beautiful and with a lot of taste. We all enjoyed this moment. And the addition was quite reasonable given the quality of the plates. I highly recommend this restaurant! I'll be back when I get back to Bordeaux.

Went to Les Bistro with my wife for her Birthday. Had a reservation even though it was not needed as it's currently really quiet in Bordeaux (holiday season). Our host read what was on offer and explained each dish to us as the menu was in French. He was most welcoming and was very friendly.The food was simply heaven. For starters we had crab and seared beef which were delectable and lovely soft bread as nibbles. Jamie (my wife) and I had the same main. It was melt in the mouth pork with sweet potato crisps and small dollops of guacamole. For dessert we had a strawberry crumble and a chocolate cake with a gooey chocolate centre.
