Just had lunch at the bar. Very entertaining. Tuna was top notch. Service excellent. Very lively place.

Exquisit Seafood, as well as the wine, really nice, courteous staff. Perfect Crème Brûlée. Really recommend!

Très chouette brasserie! Les plats sont bons, j’adore leurs frites et tartare de thon! Le service est efficace et agréable. Les prix sont un peu élevés en revanche, surtout les cocktails sans alcool.

Très belle brasserie. Le plateau de fruits de mer était magnifique. Les huîtres excellentes. Nous avions une belle table a l'étage et le service impeccable. Que dire de plus sinon que je recommande vivement cet endroit.

For the price I paid! Unfortunately, me and my friend received a scandalous service, no wine service! We give you the bottle with the first glass and the rest you manage yourself, no attention to the customer, we were never asked if we needed anything, 3 times the waiter completely forgot our table , while the restaurant was almost empty, I don't like to make complaints... but the restaurant was a disaster in terms of staff while we are in a 5 star in a Swiss city.

I had the pleasure of celebrating my wife's birthday at Brasserie Grand Chêne, and it was an unforgettable experience. The ambiance was delightful, and the food was exceptional. As we were finishing our meal, the staff surprised us with a beautifully prepared birthday plaque and candle, accompanied by a heartfelt rendition of the birthday song. This thoughtful gesture made our day even more special. The service was impeccable, and the attention to detail was truly appreciated. Oui : pour la gastronomie de la marrée il ne faut lésiner ni sur la qualité ni sur le prix. Et quel meilleur endroit que l’écailler du Palace de Lausanne pour déguster un magnifique plateau d’huîtres et de coquilles ? Au menu : des Fines de Claire, des Creuses du Banc d’Arguin, des Papillon, des moules, des crevettes grises et roses, des bulots, des bigorneaux et pour nous spécialement ce soir-là du crabe. Un régal, le tout accompagné d’un excellent Pouilly Fumé puis d’un sublime Sancerre de prix relativement abordables. Service pro et attentionné. I ordered 2 starters and a main course at the brasserie. Throughout the night there was little to no attention from the servers even when my friend and I were seated at the bar a meter in front of all of the staff. The server who took our order read back our choices to us before he keyed the dishes into the machine. The food was slow and we waited over an hour for our starters and I did not even recieve a main course. By the time I had asked the server (1hr 30 minutes after arrival) where my food was, he was surprised at the fact that I wanted a main course. The kitchen was closed and I didnt end up getting a full meal, when we told the manager his reaction was unapologetic and very stern. I...

We arrived at Lausanne two days ago. This is the last stop of our Christmas Markets trip. First we visited Basel, second to Bern then here in Lausanne. I waited until arriving here to have French cuisine. I knew I could find better French food here because it is closer to France and I was right. I found this restaurant among all the French restaurants in town, I liked their menu and their reviews. We liked it so much that we went there twice and we only stayed in Lausanne for two nights.
