"This excellent, busy, boisterous Italian restaurant is probably Detmold's most popular. It was so good we ate there for two of our three nights in Detmold. Luckily the weather was good so we could eat outside and enjoy the street life that passes by. The...food is really good. We tried Antipaso Mista, pizzas, pastas, desserts, coffee, bier and excellent Italian wine over the nights and not disappointed with anything. Service is hectic but friendly and jovial and includes English employees who are very helpful with local information. Excellent place to eat drink and people watch with mid range prices that wont hurt!"

Arrived in Detmold late Friday and had an excellent meal here. Superb friendly service and would have definitely returned if we'd been staying longer. Great value and excellent food. Loved the setting too

Never been disappointed eating here, from pizza to pasta it's all good, well presented, very tasty, fresh and reasonably priced. It is well visited so you will need to reserve a table at the weekend although I've always managed to get a seattable
