Burcott Inn - Piatti

Excellent meal on our travels north from Dorset. All home made home cooked. Very good value for money at around £15 per main dish. We will most definitely be returning here in the future.

We visited for the first time today for Sunday lunch, I’m a lady in a wheelchair and we had a table with plenty of room, we had a warm welcome, the food was delicious and we will certainly visit again, thank you

Great wholesome, homecooked food with a warm welcome for visitors. We were late for the lunch service but they reopened the kitchen so my wife and I could still get some food. A real pleasure to visit the pub and experience the hospitality. Visualizza piatti

Three of us dined here twice at Easter on a visit to Wells. Great old pub with a great atmosphere. Staff are excellent, friendly and attentive. The food was top notch and great value, with the absolute standouts the cheese soufflé and the steak and ale pie with mash (one of the best pies I think I’ve ever had).

We stayed for two nights in the great value very comfortable cottages at the rear of the Inn. The Inn itself was great, the staff the locals were very welcoming. Situated on the edge of Wookey just a few minutes drive from Wells it is ideally located for exploring the area. We enjoyed our stay would highly recommend the Burcott Inn.. Visualizza piatti

We stayed overnight in our motorhome (Britstops) at this friendly pub. The landlady was kind enough to put her boxer in a back room so our timid Border Colllie could be with us in the bar. There was a pleasant ambience with plenty of locals and great staff. The food was delicious, we tucked into garlic mushrooms, scotch egg with soldiers, burger and pork fillet. Sadly I didn't have room to cram in a pudding! We look forward to returning when we are in the area again

Called in as passing and were given a very warm welcome. Asked if they could accommodate 2 for Saturday night evening meal. They were not busy which was surprising given the lovely meal we had. We will definitely return as two delicious meals. Landlady said the chef makes everything homemade it was really good and nice to have real chips as opposed to frozen mass produced. Waiting staff were friendly and efficient. Loved the linen napkins wrapping the cutlery and the light dining room with a rustic retro feel. We will return!

Came Easter Sunday,as a family,celebrating Mum's 90th birthday,not a nice meal! The pork was two round slices,very fatty,the Chicken was a very small Thigh, 4 small carrot batons each and a small oval dish of sprouting broccoli between 5 of us, 4 small roast potatoes and a hard,hollow yorkshire pudding and 2 tiny pieces of parsnip,the meat and broccoli were hot,everything else,stone cold,admittedly we were asked several times if everything was alright,but none of us wanted to say anything,as my Mum had booked it and we didn't want to upset her and she was served a piece of salmon on request as meat is hard for her to eat,which looked much preferable to our roast dinners.
