"Unfortunately, the restaurant shouldn't call itself a pizzeria. The pizzas we ordered could hardly be chopped with a knife and fork. In terms of taste, every gas station pizza is worlds better. Conditions were also rather bad, I seemed annoyed with us. Although we were only there for a short time and were very friendly."

"Best rooms. Large. With and refrigerator. No bath tub. Good customer service. Good cools in the restaurant. Hotel lies next to mountain for good mountain walks. Beautiful scenery. Close to city center. This all good. But...prices are a little bit on high side, especially when compared to similar high value hotels in other European countries. And especially when you rent room only for one person. Breakfast was ok but also nothing special."

"Chicken in a basket sounds pretty normal to us American tourists but as other travellers have mentioned, it's ALL about their sauce. You can order it mild, medium, or spicy -- I had medium and could barely taste the heat. Don't feel silly when your primal instincts tell you to pick up the chicken with your hands because everyone else is doing it as well!We each ordered chicken in a basket and one side of fries. We were pleasantly stuffed! Best meal I had in Switzerland in the middle of summer!Decor is kind of out dated but the views this restaurant provides can't be beat. It's a bit of a drive out of Lucerne but it's well worth it.I also met the owner of the restaurant. She's a sweet old lady who sits in a corner booth and watches as her customers devour her delicious chicken."

"The only nice thing is the view. Don't get lured into this. For me the worst ever restaurant experience I can remember. Sitting down it took a while to get the attention of one of the two waiters. The first one did not react (not his table I guess , then the second one came. We are in German speaking Switzerland, and the waiter did not speak any German. Fine, we tried, English, French and Italian, no success. Very difficult. No information on any question possible. We asked for a smaller pasta portion for our son, cannot. What sauce on sausage salad, don't know. So we ordered tomato with mozzarella, tomatoes ok, 4 slices, but the mozzarella, cheapest you can buy (SFR 15 . Then a full portion of tagilatelle with mushrooms, huge portion, but had nothing to do with a pasta. Probably made two days ago and reheated a couple of times, like mushed white something with a few tasteless mushrooms (21 SFR!! . Not one of the pasta dishes below 20 franks, incredible. Mineral water, still and sparkling each 8.50 SFR. Toilettes not clean at all, no paper for nothing. Really incredible. Cannot even write how bad this was. My son and I had 24 h serious stomach issues after this pasta. Wondering where the Swiss restaurant authorities are, to have a look. And so overpriced!! Robbery!!!"

"Definitiv nicht mein Ding. Zum ersten Mal in einer dieser Verpflegungsstation gewesen. Komplizierter Bestellvorgang am Touchscreen. An der Theke konnte man nicht direkt bestellen. Gleicher Preis für 2 Chicken Hamburger, 1 Mineralwasser und 2 Espressi wie in einem normalen Restaurant mit Mitagsmenue. Im Restaurant hätte ich aber zumindest einen Teller und Besteck gehabt. Da mir auch die Ware nicht geschmeckt hat sehe ich keinen Grund diese Erfahrung zu wiederholen. Nur für meine Begriffe ist dies einfach eine Ernährung ohne gegliche kulinarische Kultur. Aber bitte, wenn es jemand mag, nur zu. Wir sind ja zum Glück alle etwas verschieden :"
