We visited Charlie's hoping for a spot of lunch at 1.40, only to be told they had no food not even a cake. Only pre booked customers were served food. I thought this was very poor. The coffee and little biscuit were very nice. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

This restaurant has a fantastic homemade quality to it. The vegetarian options are cooked wonderfully. The service is excellent for a dine-in experience. The price per person for dinner ranges from £20 to £30. The food is rated a 5, service a 5, and atmosphere a 4.

We managed to get a last minute booking here while on a weekend hiking in the peaks. What a fantastic find please don’t hesitate to book a table. Had a lovely Saturday afternoon. Cider,wine ,sandwiches chips. Also a gr8 apple rhubarb crumble. Lovely cafe. Only downside is heavy traffic passing by,but it is main rd. Charlie's is consistently excellent. The food is tasty and made with fresh ingredients. It is definitely worth a visit in Baslow. As for parking, there are plenty of spaces available on the road opposite the restaurant. I have never had any trouble finding a spot. The service is great and the prices for lunch range from £10 to £20 per person.

Cozy nice space. We had dinner there at 7:45pm on a Saturday. There was only one person working front of house for 10ish tables. I felt bad for her! As a result service was low took about an hour and a half for two ppl to eat and pay, no cocktails or desserts and a little spotty for example once the food was served, she never checked back in and we couldn’t catch her eye so our fish fry went without tartar/anything to dip it in, not a huge deal, just bland. . The potato leek soup was too salty. One note that I missed on the entrees: they come with a huge serving of boiled potatoes and veg.
