"One of the most authentic Thai takeaway in Newcastle and our go to on take away nights. We never mind waiting longer than usual as food is always spot on but tonight was such a disappointment. Ordered the usual king prawn fried rice, thai fish cakes, peanut sauce and spicy prawn crackers. King prawn fried rice usually my favourite but it was so spicy I could not eat it, such a huge disappointment, especially when this is normally a superb dish. Prawn crackers were also unfortunately stale. Not sure if there's been a change in ownership or chef but PLEASE BRING BACK THE THAI CHANG WE KNOW! last order prawn crackers were also stale however they replaced them. Staff are always kind and apologetic fr long wait abd always send a box of chocolates but this time no apology could make up fr the bad food. We've lived over the world and in the small area of North Tyneside we found this amazing authentic Thai so upset it seems to have gone downhill!"

"I decided to go here at a friend's request, I just had coffee, but my mate had a breakfast and what I found was this place is cheap, (not many places like this left) breakfast and two drinks cost less than 5.00.There is a vast array on offer and I'm sure if you have any food requirements such as pigs breakfast then I'm a very sure they accept your request, if you have food allergies then just ask them ! There is plenty of seating with easy wipe table cloths (reminded me of the 60/70's cafe commonly known as a greasy spoon but these places are a diamond and I love them, smoking area out back if you feel the need, definitely worth a visit I know I will."

"ouseburn has always been my favourite place in newcastle and I have spent many a day and night in the tyne bar. Today we ordered the nachos, hotdog and Vietnamese sweet potato fryers. wow, the food was absolutely delicious and generous in portion size and price. the hotdog was fantastic with such good smokiness and texture and the additionally fried tweepers on the summit were delicious. the nachos were served with a very nice homemade vegan cheese sauce and sour creamy chive dip, salsa and wobbles and garlic guacamole dips, while the Vietnamese sweet potatoes with such a great selection of delicious toppings were perfectly crispy. whether they are sitting inside or outside, I am sure they will enjoy their visit here with its great atmosphere and the personal and we will return soon."

"Visited today for the first time, we’ll definately return as the food was delicious. Initially came because we’d seen their weekly specials advertised which included mozzarella in caruzzo, which hardly anywhere serves, we weren’t disappointed! OH had steak in au poive sauce, which he was very happy with, good quality steak and a good sauce, I had the lasagne, one of the nicest lasagnes I’ve had in years, just disappointed that I couldn’t finish it all. Lovely wine and excellent service, highly recommend and will be back to try more of the menu"

"We came for a surprise 50th birthday meal with family and friends. We had a wonderful time. The staff are so helpful and polite and nothing was a problem or too much hassle. I asked multiple questions and for favours and everything was done which made the evening extra special and less stressful. Thank you to everyone who helped make the night so memorable. The food was lovely as always and everyone commented on it and we all had different dishes. Always great food and always lovely kind staff. Thank you for everything Saji’s! Dietary restrictions: My daughter is Gluten free and was able to have a chicken tikka starter and chicken korma and rice as a main course."
