The meal was a feast and very hearty (I roll back and I was proud The service is impeccable, the team is adorable!

We had 2 starters and 2 mains at this restaurant, Jambon cru and salmon. Both were very good. This was followed by a dorade and steak. Portions are well sized. The wine was nice too. Overall good value.

By the way to Montpellier we were looking for a place to eat well with family... we found it. From the welcome to the board, and of course at the meal, we enjoyed everything. Charming people and expert advice on wines. Thank you for this pleasant meal. Visualizza piatti

Went here to celebrate my birthday as it was recommended to me by a friend. We had the best time chatting away to Frederic and Salsa, while drinking lots of lovely natural wines. Made some new exciting discoveries that I hope to find back in the UK.I would recommend this to everyone visiting Montpellier!

This is a nice little restaurant in downtown Montpellier. Has an outside terrace on the street and cool ambiance inside with old pinball machines for tables. They serve primarily local foods which means they can run out from time to time, but the menu was still plentiful. The mussels and the sea knifes where cooked to perfection. The steak was good and the sides where fun (the mac in cheese!). Good wine list.Good food and good service.

This place mixes fantastic BBQ-ed meats with excellent wines of the region (and beyond). BBQ & wine is not, at first blush, an easy marriage but Comme un dimanche succeeds. The quality of the meats is great, the seasonings are full-flavored, complex, & spicy but they remain "relevé" not "calienté" -- which means they pair nicely with the wines. The wine list is long so ask Fred or Laurence for advice; they will steer you right. The sides are very good & copious; sharing is a good idea. Great for lunch too and the happy hour is a bargain! This place used to be a cantina favoured by students, and still has high chairs and tables inside, where the menu is as eclectic as the décor. Smoked salmon with soy sauce was slightly daring but very good. Vitello tonnato should have had a creamier covering but instead was granular, probably because they were too generous with the tuna. A whole sea bream was nearly but not quite overcooked and very flavoursome. The restaurant has a jolly atmosphere and is located in a lively part of town where even the outdoor diners still show respect for local residents.

My wife and I found this restaurant due to Tripadvisor and we were not disappointed!We booked a table outside and were given excellent service. Both our waiters were excellent. A man who explained things in good English and was very charming. And a beautiful young lady who tried very hard with her English even though she needn't. The food was exceptional! The bottle of wine which was recommended was BEAUTIFUL!Desserts scrummy!Even though we were sat with some random French couple, this seemed the norm so everyone could get a slice of this perfection.Please, if in Montpellier visit this little gem as it was my best meal and setting of our 2 week vacation.

We waited for nearly 1 hour and a half for food after ordering (waiter also took a long while to take our order) and it was not worth it. We had beef brochette (two skewers, rather small) and the duck magret (overcooked). Apparently sides are extra (and 5 euros each!) so for two small skewers with a small portion of chips we paid nearly 16 euros. Total bill was 30 euros (no drinks, no dessert). High tables and stools outside more suitable for drinking than eating - we only chose this place as it was the only in the street that was not packed.
