Leider ziemlich versteckt aber durch einen Inseidertip gefunden. Es lohnt sich wirklich.. sehr sehr empfehlenswert

I used to love going there for the food but the service is getting worse and worse. This time I am not coming back.

Das Risotto hat den Namen nicht verdient und war mehr eine Reispampe als etwas anderes. Auch die Pasta war fade und total verkocht. Das Interieur wirkt kühl und wenig einladend. Wir können die guten Bewertungen überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen. Ausser dem Preis stimmt hier nichts.

4 of us came for lunch. It was a beautiful day so we sat on the balcony overlooking a small forrest. One of us has steak tartare which was excellent served with crispy fries. I had Sole Meunière served with mashed potatoes, also excellent full of flavour. We all shared a cafe Continental which is a mini version of a few desserts. Great food and atmosphere and well priced for the area…

Food was excellent and you can feel that the person in the kitchen loves his job. On the other hand we were not welcomed by the waiter that seemed annoyed... It took 2 hours for this lunch. Thank God we had time.. I have never seen someone walking so many kilometers. Not efficient at all. Maybe we ended up on his bad day.... We might give it another go.. Dies war unser großes Abendessen in Quebec und es hat uns nicht enttäuscht. Die tischseitige Zubereitung des Cesar Salad für zwei Personen und des Chateaubriand für zwei Personen waren die Highlights. Beide waren sehr lecker, obwohl der Salat hätte serviert werden können vier. Das Rindfleisch war sehr zart und genau auf den gewünschten Gargrad zubereitet. Die Schnecken waren in Ordnung, aber ich wünschte, ich hätte sie übersprungen und mir Platz für ein Dessert gespart, denn der Tisch neben uns hatte Cherries Jubilee, eine ebenfalls vorbereitete Tafelseite, die fantastisch aussah.Ein ärgerlicher Hinweis: Unsere Mäntel und unser Regenschirm wurden an der Tür überprüft. Wir waren schon eine Weile nicht mehr im Continental und haben uns entschlossen, das Mittwochsmenü zu probieren. Wir waren angenehm überrascht von der Menge an Essen (meine Mutter hatte Mühe, ihr Dessert zuzubereiten, nachdem sie die Vorspeise und das Hauptgericht gegessen hatte). Sie erhalten drei Kurse für 18. 50 chf und es lohnt sich. Die Vorspeise ist eine Wahl der Suppe des Tages oder des Salats (die Salate waren beide Tage etwas unterschiedlich) das Haupt- und dann das Nachtisch. Es gab paniertes Hähnchenschnitzel mit Spaghetti und Tomaten-Basilikum-Sauce als Haupt- und Apfelkuchen zum Nachtisch am ersten Tag und Lasagne, gefolgt von Brownies am zweiten.Wir saßen am ersten Tag drinnen...

Yes, after trying several restaurants in Crans Montana, i can say that for me this is the Best place to eat in all valais. For me! I really love the Polenta Montagnard up at Colombire, the Entricote aux morilles and the Amazing view at Plumachit, the Biftec tartar at Taillens(although the Best tartar is here, at Continental ,the delicious pasta with șea fruits at Molino, and the generous portions of pasta at Michelangelo, the Crepes at the Yccor, close to the Patinoire(skating land , the Grillade at Le Chalet în Crans, and the Pizza at gerber, the Grilled duck with rice (mmmmmm..... at le Thai, and thuna sushi at Kaizen, but when it comes to eating the Best dinner for me is Le Continental.
