This was a great place for an evening meal. Plenty of parking. The staff were very friendly. The bar area was busy but a great atmosphere. The dining room is comfortable and the food was very reasonably priced. I would definitely return for evening meal.

What you see is what you get. Good pub food, sensibly priced with no pretence but the quality is good and the service very professional and friendly Many a lesson can be learnt by other pubs and restaurants in the area who pretend to be what they are not

Went to the cottage inn while staying at a nearby campsite, we have been before so knew it was good, booked early to avoid disappointment. Our selection was scampi and beer battered haddock, which is pretty standard pub grub..we were surprised that it came out in 5mins so not cooked fresh.. Wasn't the best food and was a let down.. We went to another nearby pub the next day which was a lot better. Need to buck up a bit

I stayed at this charming hotel in a beautiful location for 2 nights and enjoyed bed and breakfast, as well as 2 evening meals. The rooms were clean and spacious, with plenty of hot water and a view overlooking a large beer garden. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. The staff were friendly and accommodating. This hotel is the perfect base for visiting Alnwick Castle and Gardens, Bamburgh Castle, Craster, and Seahouses.

We enjoyed a delicious seafood platter at a very affordable price as a starter. However, it was quite large and we ended up ordering mains that we didn't have room for. We requested a 20-minute break between courses, but unfortunately this did not happen. Our starter plates were cleared and the mains were brought out too quickly. Overall, the food and drinks were decent and reasonably priced. It's definitely worth a visit, but be aware of the portion sizes. Visualizza piatti
