"Sunday Lunch. Party of 6. Soup starter x 2 Mushroom and Coriander tasty enough, wasn't hot enough for my husband but mine was fine, the bread served with it was a bit hard (but ok once dunked in the soup! Duck Spring Rolls x 1 no complaints from the recipients Roasts 1 x Chicken, 1 x Pork, 1 x Nut Roast all absolutely delicious generous portions of veg and gravy, the mashed swede and cauliflower cheese was a nice addition, absolutely no complaints there! 2 x Beef, again very generous portions, veg and gravy delicious, unfortunately let down by very tough, chewy beef Husband gave up and left it behind (we did inform waitress so as to give feedback to the kitchen daughter cleared her plate but agreed the meat was hard work. All Yorkshire puddings (5 that came to the table were unfortunately various degrees of burnt. So all in all, mixed feelings, unfortunately let down by lukewarm soup, tough beef and burnt yorkies! Sorry Crown Anchor for the criticism but you're best knowing so you can rectify but everything else was amazing! It was very busy so obviously very popular. Good central location. The staff were nice and the atmosphere was relaxed."

Best pub on the Barbican and the food is amazing. 2 courses for £16.95 and was one of the best roast I’ve had! Have also eaten on other days and was just as happy with the food.

What a place!! Went on the Saturday and booked a table for lunch on Sunday, amazing service, amazing food and what an awesome place to spend remembrance Sunday, and the music was amazing

Left after 15 minutes, the server was a creep and kept finding excuses to touch my girlfriend. Was borderline drooling at the mouth which just highlighted poor dental hygiene. On Facebook appears to be called Andrew and not the first time. Visualizza piatti

We found this pub through a Google review stopped for roast dinner absolutely fantastic food lovely stuff little bit noisy as there was a football match on but when I asked if they could turn TV down a bit no problem at all beautiful pub lovely atmosphere great position on the Barbican extremely well priced.

WHAT AN EXCELLENT LUNCHTIME EXPERIENCE FOR A FAMILY ANNIVERSARY .WE ALL PAID FOR THE £16.95 2 COURSE LUNCH >THE STARTERS WERE VERY TASTY AND WE ALL SAID THE PORTIONS WERE MASSIVE !.THE MAINS WERE OF A SIMILAR EXCELLENT STANDARD AND ALL FOOD ARRIVED SWIFTLY AND HOT .LOVELY DRINKS SELECTION FAIRLY PRICED AS WELL >FROM THE BAR STAFF TO THE LOVELY WAITERS WE WERE IMPRESSED >CANT REALLY SEE HOW THEY CAN IMPROVE ANYTHING !.THOROUGHLY RECOMMENDED
