"This is a fantastic spot for a Sunday dinner. The food is delicious and expertly prepared, but don't expect your beef to be pink in the middle. As for Jennings Pub, the ale is really enjoyable. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and true to its name, the pub is right on the Derwent Walk. Everything is made from scratch; you won’t find any catered soups here. While the exterior may give the impression that it could use a fresh coat of paint, don't let that deter you. Step inside, and you'll be greeted by a beautiful, cozy interior that is tastefully decorated. This place is definitely on my list of recommendations!"

this was a welcome look after the Derwent hike. we had only drinks, but the staff was very friendly and brought my dog even a bowl of water. I have to come back to lunch because it looked amazing.

This is my local pub, and it's outstanding. The food is delicious, the beer is excellent, and the staff are friendly, creating a wonderful atmosphere. When the weather is nice, the views from the beer garden are incredible.
