"Great service from the staff. Pretty simple inside, but a busy environment. For pizza and pasta, where things can be veganized from the menu. The pizza base was nice, but hardly a vegetable topping. There was nothing very Italian about the pasta should be a tomato and garlic sauce, but was just pasta and toned tomatoes. The vegan ice here is amazing, even though there are often only one or two flavors. I noticed that they also made a folding jacket, but was too full of pizza to try it. Prices are reasonable"

large queues mid week for this i e cream spot. a decent selection. all house made, fresh and with compostable tubs and spoons

One of the best coffees I’ve had in ages! Deliciously strong and hot. They also have oat and soya milk on request. Plenty of outside seating, overlooking the beach. Water bowls available for dogs.

Super friendly and helpful waitress, tasty pizza which came quickly. Good value (pizza offer weekdays 12-5), filling and tasty. Tomato garlic bread cooled down quickly so if you want it as a starter then ask for it to come first! Restaurant easy to find.

Having looked at HappyCow and thought a different place serving gelato would be open and being disappointed that this wasn't the case, I was happy to see options here. Very tasty sorbetto, decent sized scoops. Reminded me of gelato village in Leicester (love it there so much!

What a delicious ice cream place! This is an absolute must visit when you come to the North East and Whitley Bay. You will love the ice cream and the staff are fantastic and happy to guide you through the enormous amount of different flavours. Tonight I had Jaffa cake and Chocolate Brownie and they were both delicious!

located directly on the beach, di meo’s is perfect for a day with family or friends. we stopped for some vegan ice cream with chocolate flakes and it was delicious. At present there is only one taste, but hopefully there will be many more. at our second visit we tried the mixed Veg pizza and were not disappointed. the pizza was delicious with a really good vegan cheese, toppings and basic. I recommend a visit.
