"Absolutely fantastic! The interior is contemporary yet feels like home. It's beautiful, featuring stunning wall hangings by local artists. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Popped in this afternoon: lovely decor, friendly service, comfortable and nice atmosphere. I had the goats' cheese and red onion open sandwich which was delicious. Wish you all lots of luck in your new business...I'll be back!

"I absolutely adore the Forest Lodge—it's definitely one of my favorite dining spots. The atmosphere is wonderfully laid-back and cozy, especially in the bar area. The staff members are friendly, and the bar snacks are fantastic. I had the chicken in a basket, which I've tried several times, and it never disappoints. The pizzas are excellent as well! The prices for bar meals are quite reasonable, and the Sunday roasts are delightful, particularly the mushrooms! I highly recommend this charming little pub."

"First impressions really good. Drinks served and ordered light lunch. There is an open kitchen where you can see the food pass. Unfortunately part of our order sat there for approx 10mins and the rest at least 5 mins. We sat looking at it. It was ignored by serving staff and even more orders were added the the pass which was getting very full. Staff were busy serving drinks but seemed to get priorities wrong. When food did eventually arrived it was extremely tasty but only warm. Such a shame. I would return, if only to see if our experience has been taken on board!"

"Will not go to this pub again, on booking asked if they catered for vegetarians, was told there were vegetarian options, ordered Sunday roast with vegetarian option was served a huge plate of potatoes, boiled and roast, vast amount of carrots, cabbage and peas, nestled in amongst this was what looked and tasted like a stuffing ball, just the one. Sunday roast options were very poor, small plate one slice of meat, large 2, only do roast on a Sunday so grandson had to have sausages with his. Cheap but you get what you pay for. Best part of the meal was the wine."

"Service was great, albeit slightly overbearing with a continuous ask whether we were okay every 5 minutes. But the actual meal was extremely disappointing. For the absurd amount of money spent on basic 'Italian meals ', i.e., spaghetti bolognaise, homemade garlic bread, or even a pasta carbonara, I 'd expect to be wowed for restaurant quality. Yet I could have prepared the same meals for under £8 at home and been happier. However, if you 're going in for the chef special of fish on a stick, I suppose you get your moneys worth. Overall, I won 't be returning as the price doesn 't justify the cost quality of the meal, but I 'm glad to have tried."

"We had a fantastic lunch today! My husband and I enjoyed the ribs and the three-meat salad. The portion sizes were generous, and the food was delicious. With the Eat Out to Help Out offer in October, it was an excellent value at half price. The pub and restaurant were spotless, and the staff were friendly with great service. Highly recommended!
