Really nice, authentic tasting Italian food. Nice ambiance and service too.

Really disappointed. Lovely decor and staff but food was poor, especially for the price. My dish was lukewarm so had to send back, it lacked flavour and the meat was chewy and dry.

This is my favourite restaurant in Sheffield, it is unique and always feel special, the staff are welcoming and it is great for all ages … it always gives me an excuse to dress up for dinner ! Definitely worth the money and they have half price pasta and pizza on Wednesday and Thursday!!!

I love this place so much! The serving staff are always friendly and fun, the food is lovely and the drinks are gorgeous. You must go, and you must have the squid, chicken Milanese, pork belly, sausage rigatoni, tiramisu, espresso martini and aperol spritz. We always take our out of town visitors here, can’t beat the hospitality. Can’t wait for their little bar to open upstairs!!

Having read some of the reviews, we ate at Gigi’s today at lunchtime and contrary to some comments about bad service, we found the waiters to be efficient, charming and polite. Had the plat du jour which was incredible fresh pasta, pumpkin, truffle, and hazelnuts and a pizza Gigi (they do amazing pizzas). Definitely a great place to go. Sie gehen um den Ort herum und fragen sich, was Sie einmal drinnen bekommen werden.Absolut wunderbar! Ab dem Moment, in dem Sie eintreten, haben Sie einen Blick von oben auf die offene Küche, in der 6 Köche aktiv und sorgfältig Ihre Gerichte zubereiten. Der Küchenchef gibt jedem Teller den letzten Schliff und Sie kommen dorthin im modernen Italien.Der Service war einwandfrei die Kellner sind definitiv keine Anfänger, obwohl jung und lächelnd.

So disappointing. We went here last year and loved it so booked again for my birthday. The wine was good but the most of the food was awful, and the rest mediocre except for the pizza which my husband liked. My son and I had bruschetta to start which was tasteless and just seemed to be tomatoes chopped up on toasted bread with a whole ball of mozzarella cut in 4 and stuck on top. The calamari starter was tough and my risotto was bland and oily and didn’t really have the texture of risotto at all. We were the only people in the restaurant and although it looks really nice we were cold. The person who served us was very nice and efficient and I felt sorry for her as we clearly weren’t enjoying...

I’ve been to Gigi a couple of times now and it has always succeeded my expectations. In summer you can eat in their big outdoor terrasse which is so lovely especially for brunch! Inside of the restaurant is so gorgeous as well and feels so cozy. My favorite dish is their pizza Margherita, the simplest things are sometimes the most flavorful. I highly recommend trying it! You notice how all ingredients are homemade and fresh and it has become my best pizza experience. The pizzaiolo is Italian and the dough is made from scratch which you can feel the difference!
