Ginkgo - Piatti

This time I had a vital drink with lime, ginger and crushed ice filed up with sparkling water and no sugar. Very sauer and great taste and first time I had something like that in Frankfurt. Service is superb as usual.

Very tasteful dishes, though sometimes big portions. Had a lentil soup (that was so big) and a vegan platter that i can't even remember the name (it was in German). I also shared a vegan burger which was ok. Located in a nice street, close to other vegan restaurants.

Food was well seasoned had the steak sandwich/burger was tasty and wellPriced at 9euro. However it took 1hr 25 mins from ordering to paying and leaving. Friendly waiter but not attentive and didn't come back for re-order of drinks or to ask how the food was etc. So was fairly thirsty by the end! Visualizza piatti

I have visited the place quite a few times and the food was always nice and the staff nice. It's true though that there is usually only one waitress so you may wait a while. A menu in English would be great since my boyfriend does not speak German. The size of the dishes are generous and also they have really nice salads, which is hard to find in Frankfurt.

I live nearby and working from home I decided to give Ginko a try during lunch time. They were very busy but friendly and our meals were served within a reasonable time. They did serve my partner first and took a few minutes to bring my order. We had two vegan meals, the lentil burger and lentil/aubergine lasagne, both very pleasant!Prices are very reasonable (less than 10€ for each meal) and we are very happy with the menu options and are definitely going back.

Worst place in the neighborhood! Waited for Sunday brunch (simple cheese and croissant plates) from 11:05am to 12:00pm.Service is awfuly rude when you complain. No manager in the restaurant too.Worst of all, there are mice coming out of the kitchen area towards the outside sitting area! Berger Strasse is lined with small shops and restaurants, a favourite place for many Frankfurt residents to shop and meet. Gingko offers outdoor seating on the pavement in addition to the actual restaurant. It was a busy Saturday afternoon so food wasn't served fast, but service was friendly. They offer vegan dishes as well, breakfast until 4pm on weekends and homemade cakes. I had an avocado sandwich which disappointingly was served on white bread. I was very jealous of the yummy-looking vegan burger my friend had... quite certain I'll be back.

In a city like Frankfurt /Germany it is supposedly possible to find restaurants of different 'tastes'. Gingko is one you will find vegetarian, vegan and very down-to-earth dishes coincidingly. This is desirable when you are a member of a multilayered group. We visited Gingko quite frequently over the last years for different occasions. All the dishes were well prepared and creative. We really enjoyed their vegetarian food as well as their xmas-goose. This time we had a lot of fun having breakfast as a group of vegetarian and 'normal' people from Germany and Spain. We will come again!

Very bad experience with these guys. Me and a group of friends went there looking for a place to have lunch last weekend. The place was empty inside and, without justification and in a very unfriendly way, they refused us to chose other places than the places they have indicated to us (which had very uncomfortable tiny individual benches to sit on). The other tables were not reserved (we asked!) but still they refused and even before we settled in they immediately start saying in a dismissive way that only 2 or 3 choices were available from the menu.
