"I visited Giotto on the evening of the 21st for tea with my sister and my friend, first time visiting London we decided to book a table at this restaurant before we headed to watch Mamma Mia. We walked in and initial thoughts were all positive, greeted by staff and they showed us to a table by the bar. We ordered our food, it came and during the time which we were eating our meals we witnessed I assume the manager or supervisor unsure of her name but she had light brown hair and she was very rude to staff bossing them about and using no manners ! the way she was talking to staff was unacceptable in front of customers she clearly had a problem with one staff member I think his name was Zachary, we had no issues with the way he had served us we had great customer service by him he took our food orders. We heard her sending him home due to whatever he had done wrong I don’t think he had done anything wrong. If she had an issue with the way her staff work she should bring this up with them in the office not in front of customers, none of us enjoyed our meal and half way through my sister actually got up and told her that it was unnecessary what she was doing and she rudely advised my sister that we didn’t know the issues they were having with this staff member and that my sister was blowing it out of context. Can I just say that we never saw her in our initially visit through the door and the floor of the restaurant was running smoothly without her presence. I feel like she had no communication skills something that’s vital in a job role such as hers! We paid £100 for 3 of us and nothing was knocked off despite us telling them we weren’t happy with what had happened and that we wasted our food because of what we had witnessed."

Good place with a cozy ambiance. Definitely worth to pay a visit. Food was very nice and so was service. And the top notch of the dinner were desserts. Highly recommended.

Excellent food, very friendly staff. Even when there was a lot to do, the service was very good, friendly and confident. A nice restaurant. If we're in London again, we'll come back.

What a fabulous restaurant Superb food with family Spaghetti all Mariana one of the best I’ve had . Others had tagliatelle a la salmone which was excellent. One member had chicken Everyone enjoyed their food Responsive to individual taste more chilli , no dairy Great cocktails and dessert wine Busy good atmosphere Great service Would go again

I don’t understand the poor reviews as we went here late afternoon on 22nd June for dinner as a family of 5. Never been before and loved it. Great food and very attentive service the tagliatelle al Salmon was superb and had a great bottle of red: MONTEPULCIANO D’ABRUZZO. The cheesecake was superb and so was the dessert wine. Downed a few cocktails before heading off to a West End show. All very reasonably priced and they catered so nicely for one of the party who was dairy free. Honestly could not fault our experience. Would recommend going and we will return !
