"We were only in Chiemsee two days, but we ate here twice. On our first day, we ordered a carry-out pizza. It so good, we went back for dinner the next day, and enjoyed excellent pasta arrabiata. The decor and atmosphere is nice, service is...good, prices were reasonable. If we'd planned to stay another night, we might have gone back a third time."

"so a farm is to be: beautifully homely furnished when you want to sit inside, and a beautiful garden economy with enough sun umbrellas. a fantastic and quiet chatter with a view of the chiemsee. speditiw and humorously set up the coscist servier. quickly we are supplied with the drinks and the tasty and plentiful day-trippers are already a short time later. the bauerspies as well as the Bavarian or Swiss sausage salads were best.Only the slice bread is likely to be fresher or please an additional sort in the offer. a perfect place for a leisurely return, a little off the hectic and in a few minutes from the autobahn. if we are close, then we are sure to be back in this beautiful gasthof."

"in principle, I don't think it's good if restaurants are badly rated because you weren't allowed to take the dog or there were no wind clothes. what happened to us today - Sunday, 30.04. - here, however, was just incredible. because of the consistently good reviews, we planned to eat there at our day at the Chiemsee. because on the website it is big that there is warm kitchen throughout, it should be approx. 14 o'clock. arrived there, the service forces were completely overwhelmed at the first sight. no greeting, no table assignment. Asian guests who didn't even know how to help at all wanted to order directly at the counter and were plucked that they were supposed to look for a place first - in a ton, vibious. we then set ourselves to two other guests who wanted to pay for over a quarter of an hour and were officially amusing about the inability of the staff. to the head Calculation of the amounts 1.80 euro 3.50 euro needed the young lady over half a minute. on another table she sat a whole minute when the bill was even longer. now, when our fellow sitters left the table, we finally got a card on demand. a card to two. be it. after another 10 minutes, the young lady finally showed up again and we wanted to give up our order. in the drinks, all well, then it went to the main dish - "Well, the kitchen doesn't take orders anymore" "as now what does it mean?" "yes, don't go anymore" "why was it not told us when we entered the restaurant or asked about the map? since that was half an hour? or you write it on the board at the entrance? - that was the operation then too much of the constructive criticism and she just went on to the next table as if nothing had been. we got up and left. we have experienced a lot, but such an overwhelmed, incapable staff really never before."

"Ideal for birthdays and similar family festivals. Also a visit with the company is worth it. For in love rather not recommended, although romantically situated at the Chiemsee. "Very disappointed in the menu and maybe the lowest quality meal we had during our week at Chiemsee.The restaurant caters to big tourist groups and is simply too big to provide quality food and / or good service.We started with the local lake fish ("Renee"), a typically very tasty fish with similar attributes to a trout but this was dry and tasteless. We had a second dish with the same fish, this time raw as "matjes", a bit better but still underwhelming. The local mushrooms ("Pfifferlinge"), advertised as special, were covered in a thick sauce and came with a big "Knoedel" (???), you could count the actual number of mushrooms on two hands. The venison was over-cooked, chewy and in a thick herb crust (which was somewhat tasty but we couldn't taste the meat). The service staff worked hard but just couldn't cope with the large number of guests (and they told me that they were not even booked out !).There are much better places to eat around the Chiemsee. Sadly, the fish died in vain ..."
